  1. Hej yall, Im using an ASRock B550m Pro4 & now ordered the Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO SL. The plan is to control the memory with the iCUE software but I‘m not sure if I need a controller in order to be able to do so. Thanks in advance
  2. I loved the game. I started playing it on pc with keyboard & mouse, then switched to a ps4-controller which was a really badass improvement as It was much easier to play & then finally I bought it for my Xbox to play it while chilling in my bed. But then unfortunately my xbox live subscription expired so I've never played it again since 1-2 years. T.T
  3. Wait a minute... Only the power button was broke? How unlucky can someone be
  4. Well I just googled around cuz of ur recommendations and now ordered the Corsair TX550M instead. Thanks!
  5. Hej guys! I was struggling with my PSU choice for a while now. I'm now thinking about getting the CX650M from Corsair. Now I'd like to receive ya'll opinions as I'm not really sure if it will fit my future-planned pc build. I don't think it'll cause any problem with my current build* but I'm not sure - when I'll upgrade my GPU to an RTX 2070 or something like that, will that PSU be still a good choice? *My current build: ASRock B550 Pro4 16GB Ram Ryzen 5 3600 GTX 970 (RGB fans & stuff is planned for the future!) https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Power-Supply-Units/cxm-series-2015-config/p/CP-9020103-NA https://www.amazon.de/Corsair-CX650M-PC-Netzteil-Teil-Modulares-Kabelmanagement/dp/B019NWQSOC/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=cx650m&qid=1595016937&sr=8-1 https://www.mediamarkt.de/de/product/_corsair-cx650m-builder-series-2206538.html
  6. @BlueScope819 uhmn no, not every PSU is compatible with every GPU. For example I have a PSU with 1x 4-pin graphics connector which is not compatible with my GPU which needs 2x 6-pin. @emosun @Eighjan I actually misread.. I thought the PSU I mentioned has 1x 6+2-pin connector but it has 4x 6+2-pin connector which is absolutely compatible with my GPU. Sorry for the time waste... // off topic @Eighjan I love ur signature!
  7. Hej guys! As the title says, I'm looking for a good valued PSU for my PC (ATX). I hope someone can give me some suggestions as when I wanted to order the PSU of my choice (Corsair CX650M) a few minutes ago, I checked back the specs & realised that it's GPU connector is not compatible with my current GPU. The PSU should be available with around 650 watt & (semi)-modular. (!) I'm thankful for every single suggestion! Best Regards, baeni
  8. Did a lil research. The MX500 seems to have a better performance: https://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/WD-Blue-3D-250GB-vs-Crucial-MX500-250GB/3948vs3951
  9. apart from my last message - Why did u add the 3300x, when he said u should not to? I mean I would chose that aswell but yeah..
  10. I am not that experienced with streaming softwares but u might be able to select the nvenc as long as u really go with a gtx gpu instead of the cpu to encode the stream. I think u could go with the 3300x then if I am not completely wrong.
  11. May I ask which software u're using to stream? Aren't u able to use the Nvidia encoder rather than using the CPU?
  12. @minibois @Tigerleon @BlueScope819 @Fasauceome Perfect, thanks y'all! @BlueScope819 yeah I will buy a 2x8GB 3200mh/z kit in the future but I just need some temporary RAM for now. I will return it anyway so it doesn't need to be a good deal. I went with a single 8GB 2666 mh/z kit for 30€ now. As I said - Just for test purposes and not for actual usage.
  13. Hej! I need to know the minimum RAM size for the R5 3600 if there is a limit. The only information I can find are about how much ram it supports at maximum, but nothing about the minimum it needs to run. Thanks in advance! Regards, baeni
  14. I do have a gfx card and a power supply. I ordered these products without the other components, because I will get the other products cheaper from another shop. If the products will arrive damages, I will return them. No problem. But indeed - It makes sense to order everything together to have the highest chance to receive everything in good condition. My mobo and cpu will be delivered in one packet together tho so that should be okay. atm I cannot buy the ram I am planning to use cuz my budget does not allow me to. Maybe I should consider going the bad way and buying a kit to test my mobo and cpu, and then return the kit after.
  15. yeah I bet the best option now is to check if I can borrow some ram from a friend even if I need to pay some € for the shipping as most of my friends with a pc live some hours away lol
  16. Hmm yeah I thought about that already.. Unfortunately the ram I want to buy in the future, is not available with only one 8GB stick so I'll probably have to waste some money for buying a cheap used one for temporary usage.
  17. uhmmm I'm actually not sure if the pc's are running with DDR3 or DDR4. Also I don't think that would be a nice move if u know what I mean
  18. Would be a good solution if I'd know anyone nearby with a pc
  19. That sucks, I had a little hope to be able to get into the bios
  20. Well I just did it. I saw that both, the ASRock B550 Pro4 & the Ryzen 5 3600 were on sale, so I just clicked "buy". I'm actually kinda happy as these are the first pc components I've ever bought. I've already created some topic in this forum about my planned build (https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/vQHMWb). The problem is, that I do not have another 100€ for the ram atm so I'm kinda worried. Of course I want & need to check if the mono & cpu are working properly, when they get delivered but I can't, right? Any ideas? Or will I be able to boot into the bios & check there, if the mob & cpu are working? Actually in the pcpartpicker link, the prices are 134,50€ & 160€ - I got them for 129,-€ & 159-€ (6,50€ saved, whoa)
  21. Yep, please read my answer I've sent a few seconds before u've sent ur message. Bad timing I guess
  22. I will definitely take a look at Noctua's fans, thanks. To answer the second part of ur message: I probably won't go with an nvme SSD but I have my current HDD which I will mainly use for storage. Just read my last message for a more detailed explanation.
  23. Yeah the AIO is overkill, that's more like a design element for the future. I won't buy it directly but when I have some money left one day, I'd love to get it.^^ & yeah the 1TB SSD is enough for now cuz I have an HDD from my current build which I will use for storage purposes mainly first. I'm definitely planning to replace the HDD with a second SSD a couple moths after buying the main parts tho. Forgot to mention that, sorry!
  24. Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: - Games: GTA V, Red Dead Redemption II, VALORANT, Minecraft, ... - Programming: IntelliJ IDEA (Java) Hej y'all, it's me again. I am planning my new PC build for a while now & as I'm pretty much done now, I'd love to hear y'all opinions again. If there is anything in my list, which does not look good to u, please let me know including an explanation. Maybe I can also replace something for a better value - if so, please let me know. https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/BbT7Nq Little sidenote: The GTX 970 is the gpu I currently own. As it's pretty okay for the tasks I'm currently executing, I will keep it for now. I'll probably upgrade to an RTX a few month later. Thanks in advance! Best Regards, baeni
