  1. I tried shorting the power button pins without any front panel headers plugged in and still had the same problem.
  2. I have everything disconnected from the board except the cpu and front panel power button. Unless like you said, the motherboard itself is the issue.
  3. I just tried running the pc with only the 24 pin and 8 pin cpu cables connected. Still getting the same issue.
  4. I built a new pc 2 days ago and it worked perfectly fine until now. I was playing Modern Warfare and my pc randomly shut off. I was able to turn it back on after unplugging it for a minute then trying again. I went to play, this time it shut off and restarted itself. I ran a stress test on CPU and GPU at the same time and nothing happended. I turned off my pc pressed the fan test button on the psu and it worked. Now my pc wont turn on. Im not sure if this is any useful information or part of the problem but my psu clicks whenever i turned on and turned off my computer. It did this since i built my pc and still does it when im trying to turn it back on. When i turn try to turn on my PC this is what happens: -plug in psu and flip switch -motherboard RGB lights up -press power button hear a click -fans move slightly then stop and ram RGB turns on -nothing else happens I checked temps before all this and everything was normal. I am thinking its the PSU but im not completely sure. Here are my specs: i7-10700k (wasn't overclocked) EVGA RTX 2080 super xc ultra Asus rog strix z490-f Corsair H115i platinum Corsair Hx850i Corsair vengeance pro rgb 2x8gb 3200mhz All help is appreciated, thank you.
