  1. SO, I got an ASUS fx505dy about a month ago, and a couple of days ago I was using it while plugged in and it suddenly crashed. No life at all, not even a light that showed that it was plugged in. It was like this for over 2 hours, after which the light came on, so I powered it up to see what had happened. I could find no issues that could've caused the crash, but the both the wifi and the second drive weren't listed, even after opening up the computer and reinstalling them. After trying for about 30 minutes to figure out what was wrong, the computer crashed again. Now it won't even load the OS. Looking back I think that the power block might have been faulty, and either gave too much or too little electricity, which caused the sudden shutdown, leading to software issues. However, I could be wrong, which is why I'm here. Anybody have any thoughts as to what else could've happeneed, and what I could do other than return it to the seller?
  2. I need help, I've got a 10 year old pc that won't turn off. I use the power off in the windows start screen and it will turn off and restart. I've tried turning it off using the external power button, after closing all programs, and seeing if for some strange reason the restart and power off buttons were switched around (nope). Even if I remove the power cable after it turns off before restarting, but when I plug it back in it still turns itself back on. Any thoughts?
