  1. OK, I updated my BIOS too but my problem is not solved.
  2. I have 4 spare CMOS battery which i bought recently in a pack. If my problem persist i will try with another battery.
  3. Ok I cleared the CMOS with CMOS jumper (followed the manual) and it seems to be working fine for now but this time boot time was higher then I ever noticed. As i have a M.2 as my bootable device I use to get very quick boot even with fast boot disabled from my BIOS. I have not updated my BIOS for now. I will do that by EOD if the problem still persist. Let's see if CMOS jump is enough to fix the problem or not.
  4. I don't have multi meter at my place. I will go to some electronic shop will check the Volts once the lock down is over in my area.
  5. Unfortunately I don't have any other PC around at my place to test this scenario but when i replaced the battery it was working fine. Approximately for two weeks i didn't encounter this problem with new CMOS battery.
  6. Hello everyone, I hope everyone is safe and Happy. My CMOS battery was dead after 4 years of use so i recently installed a new CMOS battery and everything was running fine. But from last night my PC is going to BIOS (the one where it asks to press F1 to enter BIOS) screen when i try to boot up my system. I figured that my M.2 drive (Bootable) where my OS is installed is not configured in the MOBO settings so i tried to re-configure and restarted the PC and then it's works fine, But whenever i shutdown my PC and try to start it again then i face the same issue where my M.2 drive is not configured in MOBO setting. This problem does not occur if i restart the PC. Also i noticed that whenever i try to boot my case power led and fans led's turn on and off for couple of times (usually 2 times) before coming to BIOS screen where it ask me to press F1 to enter bios setup. Then i configure M.2 SSD and save and exit and again power led turn on and off for two times and PC boots up. I was wondering that is this behavior normal because i have not noticed this earlier. Any help will be highly appreciated and thanks a lot for your time. 7. is it safe to use mix brands? What are the chances that i will run into compatibility issues?
  8. Now it's showing in stock but the prices are shot up. I don't know why? I guess have to wait till the prices normalize. usually this ram cost around 40USD (Rs. 3000).
  9. I live in India and corsair is partnered with e-commerce like Amazon, Flipkart, Walmart etc and their online portals shows out of stock.
  10. Hello everyone, I want to upgrade my single channel ram setup to dual-channel from ram capacity from 8GB to 16GB but I am unable to find the same brand ram in the market. They're showing out of stock since this Covid-19 affected us. Currently, I am using this ram in my PC (Corsair vengeance DDR3 8GB x 1) - https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Memory/High-Performance-Memory/Vengeance®-—-8GB-DDR3-Memory-Kit/p/CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10 Motherboard - Asus z97a - https://www.asus.com/in/Motherboards/Z97A/specifications/ My question - Should I mix the ram brands? If yes then please help me choosing one

  14. How do I do that? I am not very good with bios stuff. I usually follow you tube and forums to solve my problem, can you please explain in more detail?
  15. Hello everyone, I just upgraded my system with new M.2 SSD (nvme 250gb Samsung evo plus) and i was able to install windows 10 x64 on it and after installation everything was running smooth. Also while installing windows on M.2 SSD I physically removed all my other storage device from motherboard (sata ssd and hdd). Then i restarted my pc and i got a error blue screen so i did hard restart (from cabinet button) and went into bios to see if my motherboard is detecting the M.2 SSD or not. My board recognizes the M.2 storage in "Onboard device configuration" and also in boot selection menu (the one which comes when you press F8). The strange part is that my boot order is showing only my WD HDD with Windows manager written with it and when i tried to configure boot options from motherboard bios options i can only see my Sata SSD and Sata HDD, i can't find the option to choose M.2 as my primary boot device. I tried everything which i knew and now i have no clues what to do. Note - I never installed windows on my HDD, i used to have windows on my ssd which i completely formatted after installing OS on M.2 and now it's being used as storage device. I am able to boot windows and able to use my PC when i choose M.2 from boot selection menu (by pressing F8 on bios) screen. Please help me because i want to use M.2 as my primary boot as it is super fast and makes my life easy while using my PC. It is so frustrating to always go to bios and select the M.2 from there and then boot. Any help is highly appreciated.
