  1. Nope. No overclock and yes the drivers are up to date. This was an upgrade from a 1050 ti. Yes the card was used.
  2. Hi I was playing rust with my 1070 that hasn't had any issues before now and I suddenly received some texture glitching so I restarted and checked again only this time I was having triangles and stuff appear on my windows desktop. I'm really upset as I only recently got this card and this is the first time it has artifacted. Does anyone here know of this could be a one off? Could the artifacting be gone by tomorrow? Any help will be appreciated.
  3. yea i just got one from aerocool. its 80 plus bronze, 600w, and the cables are much thicker than the last psu i had
  4. im afraid of that too. i do have another cpu that can fit this socket. im just waiting for my brother to send it to me so i can test it. iremember having a dead cpu in the past and when i installed it, the fans would still spin. the difference is that now i think the motherboard is dead so ill try my cpu in my brothers motherboard aswell to determine the fault. i have looked on ebay for a few deals and have messaged some sellers for their lowest price and might get lucky. i just pray thats the only thing wrong.
  5. i tried without the card in and just cpu and motherboard installed. not even the fans are spinning
  6. power switch is in the right place. i even tried powering on with screwdriver
  7. ive thought of that but im sure its in the right place. ill check online to make sure i have the connector in the right pins now.
  8. im debating a new board but worried if its the cpu. i have had a dead cpu before but im certain its the motherboard because when i did have a dead cpu the fans would spin. in my case the fans are not spinning at all which probably means its the motherboard. my only concern is... what if the cpu died allong with the motherboard.
  9. i live in the uk i can look online for some but i cant wait for long
  10. i dont really have time or money for new stuff like that. i need this pc running asap and if that means buying a new motherboard then im gonna need every penny
  11. ive tested hard drives, theyre fine. gpu isnt a concern right now and is too big for any other pc in the house. its just cpu and motherboard that are plugged in and that i am trying. i cant afford another mb so any help will be great
  12. i dont have a bios speaker to test it with and i have tested with and without a gpu
  13. thats okay. is there anything else i can try?
  14. ive tried 2 power supplies now. the old one and my new one which was brand new about half an hour ago.
