I’ve been looking for a monitor now for roughly 4 weeks and I just can’t decide on which one. I’m looking for a 24”- 27” monitor with a 144hz refresh rate. I would like to try and keep the cost under £350. I have found a stand out monitor the AOC 27G2U/BK. This monitor looks good and seems to tick all the box’s however when I was reading through the specs it has a 250 nits brightness which reminded me of a Linus Tech Tips video where he said this brightness seemed quite dull. I’ve also been looking at some Asus monitors but when I looked at the customer reviews of these many people have complained about dead pixels or just broken monitors so I don’t really want to buy something that will have to go back straight away.
In conclusion I am just wondering if the AOC 27G2U/BK is bright enough. If anyone has any good reliable monitor recommendations then please help me and let me know.
