    Best I got is this:

I've seen lots of reports of issues with four DDR5 RAM sticks.  I don't know if this relates to your issue at all.  You might want to just use two sticks and see if that changes things.  Last year there was a firmware issue with Samsung M2 drives but if you recently purchased the drive, it should have been fixed.  I bought a Samsung Pro M2 drive five months ago from Microcenter and the firmware was already updated.

I read through that forum thread. It wasn't clear if you were saving settings and rebooting after changing CSM settings.

I recall having an issue like this in the past, and CSM was the issue for me. If I were you, I'd take another stab at it, and try all permutations of CSM settings. Start with whichever settings sound the most permissive.

You vaguely mention specific issues in your first paragraph, but then go on in your second to ask for general advice. What are your specific issues?

Did you jump straight to 107? Did you try 101?

    The base clock is 3.6GHz meaning a default multiplier of 36 and 107 * 36 = 3852 ~3.8GHz, so I assume that's what is happening there.

Hairless Monkey Boy reacted to jaslion in Priorizing Integrated GPU over dedicated GPU for low performance applications.
You'll have 2 gpu's active instead of just the 3080 which means more idle power draw. The igpu is off off when nothing is plugged in to it when booting but the dgpu is always on.

So basically dont you wont save power and you wont extend the life of your gpu since its on anyway

Yea liquid freezer ii will do just fine

Basically irrelevant for a 7800x3d anyways since the extra cache stacked ontop the cpu and the garbage ihs insulate the cpu so itll run hot no matter what

For any real temp improvement only 2 things you can do which is delid and run direct die and/or subzero cooler, neither are worth doing without a board that supports eclk overclocking, especially the latter

The performance of an AIO is mostly dependent on the fans installed. I don't know much about Arctic fans, but if you picked up some pressure-optimized Noctua 140mms you could probably squeeze some extra performance out of it. The NF-A14 will provide the most static pressure while also not being 40 dba.

This is a bad thing but I am in the process of getting a flash drive to fix it so I don’t need any help with this.

I accidentally deleted most of not all of my drivers. So no WiFi, Bluetooth, graphics, and anything else that I can do on my computer. Good news though, as I mentioned I am getting a flash drive to download the drivers to that and download from that because I can’t access the internet because I don’t have the drivers, and can’t download them from asus’s website because well, I don’t have the WiFi drivers.

wish me luck with the fixing of my horrible mistake.
