So i was on my computer about to queue up a game, then the power went off in my house. After it came back on, I tried to turn on my pc but my main monitor didnt turn on, instead my 2nd monitor turned on as if it were the main. Shortly after, my main monitor turned on but the resolution was all out of wack. Everything was enlarged and pixelated. I went to settings and it only allowed my main monitor to go to 1280 x 800 and that was the recommended resolution. After unplugging and replugging some stuff, it finally got back to proper resolution. I began checking to see if all settings were still correct but noticed that my hz were only at 60hz. The monitor I have is an Alienware AW2518Hf and it should be able to reach 240hz and it has been for the last 8 months. I tried going through my device manager, windows settings, nvidia control panel, and also uninstalling drivers, but im only getting 60hz still.
Anybody have any advice or suggestions? I really dont want to lose this monitor since its not even a year old.
