  1. Yes! i'll go for it or the Phanteks AMP 650 (it's a rebranded seasonic focus gold) and i found it for a little less. Thanks everyone for your help.
  2. So... if for example you want the best value on a 650w seasonic psu and don't care about full modular.. which would you choose? For example for a 3900x + 2070s.
  3. well... the 660watts went out of stock i can find the Antec HCG650 at about USD110 (internally is the same as the Seasonic focus plus gold), and the seasonic focus gx-550 at about USD104. Are they good?
  4. thanks! do you think the 1st choice, at 660watts is enough for that config?
  5. Yeah... can't find anything good for less than 60 bucks
  6. Hi! Im looking to buy PSU's for 2 differents systems. System 1: Currently: 3700x, 750Ti, x570 tuf gaming plus wifi, 3 hdd's, 2 m.2, 1 sata ssd on a phanteks p600s with 4 140mm fans. The psu must be able to handle a future upgrade to 3950x + 2080s. Budget: around USD100. Looking for good quality psu, silent fan, modular if possible. It does not neet to be 80+ platinum. A good 80+ bronze will do. I found these, i do not know if they are good buys or enough power: USD113 Fractal Design Ion+ 660P 80 PLUS Platinum Certified 660W Full Modular Compact ATX Power Supply with UltraFlex Cables USD69 GIGABYTE GP-B700H 700W ATX12V SLI CrossFire Certified 80 PLUS BRONZE USD109 Thermaltake Toughpower GOLD 750 W 80+ USD112 EVGA GD (2019) 700 W 80+ Gold USD105 EVGA B5 750 W 80+ Bronze Feel free to add more models. The other system is more simple. It's an i3-3220 with a gt430 and 2 hdd's. In the future when it breaks, will be replaced with something similar, low cost, low power consumption. But i want the psu to be a reliable one that can last a few years at least, not garbage and silent. Currently has a noname 400watts noisy as hell that turn's off randomly and has 2 bulged caps , so that computer is awaiting it's new psu. Budget: around USD35 to 50 max. What do you recommend here? Thanks!
  7. Thanks for your help! i see what i can do with the trial version.
  8. I was thinking it may be that... i did not know how much memory intensive they were. I supossed that the cpu-z bench fitted l1 or l2 cache, but thought CB20 was more memory intensive. Thanks.
  9. Hi! I was trying today different configs to try to extract a little more performance. My memory is not so good, hynix CJR die, Vengeance LPX CMK8GX4M1D3000C16 8gbx2 xmp @ 3000mhz. Look at this results: cpu-z 5415, CB20 4621, 2133mhz CAS 15 xmp off cpu-z 5420 ,CB20 4583, 3000mhz CAS 22 xmp off cpu-z 5320, CB20 4638, 3000mhz CAS 16 xmp on (attached detailed memory settings). How can i have almost the same CB20 result at 2133mhz cas 15 vs 3000mhz cas 16? amd a higher cpu-z bench too? Last one with pbo on i get an average of 4800 in CB20. My system: Ryzen 3700x, Asus x570 Tuf Gaming wifi.
  10. Yes, i tought of that too. I have a dog in my house, and even when i vacuum every day the house is full of hair, so maybe i can try with and without the dust filter and see how it goes. THe P400a has no dust filter and is one of the best cases for aircooling setups i think. The enthoo pro m without the dust filter should be decent too.
  11. Hi! After ten years i did my new build. Went from a I3-3220 to a Ryzen 3700x+Asus X570 TUF wifi with m2 ssd + 2 hdd's. I'm still using my old 750TI. So far i've used the old case of my pc for the time being (an old 15year+ cybercool case). I wanted to upgrade the case. I really liked the reviews about the Phanteks P400a, a lot of airflow and better cooling than most cases and not so much noise with the 3 big fans at low speed. Here in summer we have days of 40°C+. But in my country (argentina) with Covid19 it's almost impossible to get this case, it's sold out everywhere. I can get for almost the same price a oem version of the Enthoo Pro M with 2 fans included. I plan to have 2 intake fans, and 2 exhaust fans (one back and other in the top). I can not find any good review of that case with standarized temperatures comparison. Is it a good case temperature wise? Thanks in advance!
