I really need help,
I built my first ever gaming pc with the help of my friend starting a year ago and have been upgrading parts since. About three months ago the original power supply that I had in my system blew a main capacitor. Since then I’ve been using a EVGA 750 psu. Unfortunately for a decent amount of time now I’ve been playing Destiny 2 on my system and at basically completely random times my whole system will shut down and won’t come back on till I kill power to the psu. With the help of the already mentioned friend I’ve tried everything. Including:
different power supply, stress tests to try and recreate, making sure everything is up to date, checking bios, making sure nothing is over heating, etc. Its come to the point where we have no clue what’s causing it and we are frustrated and at a complete loss. If anyone can help us it would mean everything.
Configs:
mother board: ATX X470 gigabyte ultra gaming
cpu: ryzen 7 2700
ram: 16 gb
gpu: 5700 xt
storage: 2tb seagate barracuda + 500 gb Samsung 970 evo plus M.2 ssd
I’ll be happy to fill in any blanks if it helps me get to the bottom of what’s wrong with my computer. Thank you
