  1. Ok so now i opened the case and there wasnt enough airflow and when i checked the temps while playing gta 5 at ultra most settings gpu was average 76 temperatuee with a max of 81°C and that too for interval never reached 83°C (Fan speed at max 61%) Today playing watch dogs the temps went upto 83°C just for a moment there was a little loss in clock speed then under 80 74-78 were the temps at max 65% fan speed... Are these temps safe now? Gpu is SAPPHIRE NITRO PLUS RX480 4GB My room is hot and humid... I personally feel very unpleasant playing there... Maybe these are also cause of more temps?
  2. My GPU is thermal throttling at 83°C and gpu clocks are reduced from 1306 Mhz to keep temp there it happens quicky when fan speed is 67% but took around 10 mins to reach 83°C on 100% fan speed... It is still reaching 83 on 100% fan... What should i do?
  3. Hi LTT Forum members, I bought a used Sapphire Nitro Plus RX480 4GB coupled with H61 asus and intel core i5 3570 and 8gb ram... I tested out GTA V at 1080p SMAAx2 FXAA Shader high shadow high rest of the qualities very high... I was able to reach 60-70 fps and 100% of GPU usage but fans were running at 100% and temperature at maximum was 83°C. Using msi afterburner I readjusted fan curve and now 67% of fan speed and temperature is still 83°C. I expected it to go higher and it didn't. It was a surprise... Now two questions : Will running the gpu at 100% fan speed reduce its lifespan (fan?) What should be the stress temperatures of this card. Is 83°C too hot and what could i do to decrease temperatures of the card. Higher temperature reduces lifespan?? I have a mini tower casing Antec NSK-3480 and has only a rear fan and case is closed all the times so ventilation is not that good... temps at idle are 45°C and playing less intensive games ~ 55°C. Furmark bench test at avg 60 fps at 90-100% fan speed were 76°C
  4. Gtx750ti indeed has a low profile model and can draw all its power form pcie slot... 60W is its wattage estimated i intend to use it with core2quad q9650... Do 235W has potential because as we know gtx1050ti is a 75W card and linustechtips did slip in this card over 255W psu and made it work.
  5. As i saw in your video building upgrading 69$ gaming pc to a 150$ gaming pc. That was done on a dell optiplex 380 SFF having 255W psu. While i have dell optiplex 780 SFF with only 235 W power supply. Can i run a 60W gtx750Ti on it with core 2 quad q9650 processor and 8Gb ddr3 ram? Reply will be appreciated. Please help me.
