man, this is easy, how did you not solve this on your own you tater. you see when you disable message signaled interrupts for the device it will be fixed because then it doesn't reset the device everytime (dunno exactly why this happens tho) ill explain how to reset it :p. step 1:P : find the device that has problems remember the higlited thingy :P. step 2 : find it in device manager(which can be opened by right clicking start,or searching for it in the searchbar) . not sure which? right-click properties of all of the (s)ata devices then look under the "Details" Tab for "Bus Relations" step 3: now look under Hardware id(s)(almost done :p) step 4 : edit the registry to disable msi for the device by typing "regedit" in the searchbar and opening it(should ask for admin priv) the device is under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\PCI\VEN_(above first half) +&DEV_(second half )+ some crap example: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4390&SUBSYS_43901849&REV_40" then press ctrl+f and search for "msi" in the folder then edit MSISupported and set the hexadecimal value to "0" (ONLY MSISupported, NOTHING ELSE THAT CONTAINS MSI) (the device does not contain the msi option under the label???? just disable msi for all other devices under the tree) step 5: press ok, and close and save if it asks for it, reboot and you're good to go, respond to my post if this worked :P. Cheers <3 -
FIXED, answer down below So i have been using this pc for a few years now, overcame many a hurdles but am generally really happy with it but is currently a nuisance to use. specs: When i start a browser and surf the web a bit my C: drive rockets to 100% usage but it's transfer speed drops to 0B/s I have been able to reproduce the issue many a times on chrome, torch(also chromium) and opera, but this doesn't not seem to affect steam(as of yet(steam is glorified web browser)) also all the other drives don't transfer anything anymore, i assume this is a software issue, as it doesn't happen with other applications(games(warframe,banished,witcher3,etc),torrents,visual studio or any other imaginable task that is not one of the previously mentioned browsers. notably though it still samples the USB bus and applications that do not read data from the disk at the time of the freeze still work fine-ish foobar still plays music and i can play and pause with my keyboard shortcuts(thus USB still responding) but i cannot move the window of the application. so audio still works usb still works CPU doesn't freeze up as it still executes threads but when a program tries to access a read or write function at the time of the freeze the program halts(waiting for read/write to finish?)(basicly everything in time starting with chrome and in a blink of an eye the windows ui too and slowly the other applications. the most interesting would be that not only the ssd stops reading/writing but so does the other drive but only the ssd is at 100% usage, my suspicion: chrome trying to write to a bad sector on the ssd? i highly doubt it is a sata controller hardware failure, as then it would happen at different applications too. so i wonder what do browsers do that other applications don't do? and why is steam not afflicted?

Welp I f*cked up. so i was bored one day(today) and i decided i wanted to clean up my pc so i open up control panel and i see that i am too bored to manually clean everything and i decide to do a complete reinstall of windows and format. now me being a total genius forgot to copy the encryption keys certificates for all my stuff on my other harddrive. does anyone know a way to decrypt? auto dialer or something?? because i know the chance is slim to get them back but losing all my music is kinda devastating... welp this was the end of my hopeless prair. i sad now ;c note: i did check onedrive..

Using smartphone, tablet, and laptop together.
Freakstyler replied to Scruffy90's topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
For syncing stuff across platform bittorent sync is my favorite you just add a folder and it will push the files to all other device that are connected you also have different levels of access you can alsomake you phone read-only for example so it will only dowbload the files but not add new files to the library. Tho i do have some trouble with the current android app but older versions work just fine.- 11 replies

there is a beautifull guide right here: http://www.intowindows.com/change-default-installation-directory-in-windows-7-vista/ short version: 1. open "regedit" just type it in the startmenu. 2. find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion 3. just change all the things you want example : C;\Program Files to D;\Program Files there is also a registry edit for the appdata and users folders but having used that it makes windows quite unstable so i dont recommend that. note: some installers ignore the registry settings and install in C: anyways but almost none do that.
