Looking to upgrade so I can work on projects from home as well as handle heavy gaming load. My current build is about 9 years old and I have promised it to someone else. I want this new build to be fast reliable and probably upgradable to keep it relevant. in the years to come.

I want to run games at 2560x1440 with a high refresh rate 144Hz or something similar. I will be using 2 monitors for workloads one mostly for text and the other for programs.
I am unsure If this configuration is very good or ideal.
