  1. I'm the guy in the photo - I'll dm you my gpu because I don't wanna spoil the competition. Other specs are xeon e3-1270 v2 and 8gb ram
  2. What was that USB LED at 10:53? I really want one.
  3. found the account https://onlyfans.com/reallinustechtips
  4. You sure it is being cooled correctly? check temps
  5. You can get a xps 13 on the dell outlet for less than £1000
  6. It is 100% the GPU that's holding me back. I use a 1440p ultrawide 100hz. Most games are 30% CPU usage and basically 100% GPU
  7. Not looking to swap out my i7 but am looking for the best new GPU paring for it. Should I get something like a 2060 Super or wait for a 3060?
  8. Is there any point in terms of general productivity of getting a high refresh rate monitor? I game but I don't game a lot and I am looking for upgrades to my 1080p 16:9 60hz 24" Samsung to a 1440p ultra wide I just don't know what sort of benifits there are to counteract the additional cost of 120hz+. Any advice welcome!
  9. Overclocking your RAM is quite common practice amongst people who want a little bit more performance and a 400mhz OC shouldn't any harm
  10. Yeah, some apps are literally just a browser window in an app. Another is the w3schools app for android, it is literally a chrome window in an app
  11. You shouldn't see a noticeable bottleneck in gaming 4 - 4.5 ghz should be possible
  12. Could be f2 or del but if they are not working, try f11 for boot menu to see if anything is working or try another keeb
  13. I would say even a 120GB is too small. A 240GB is about £5 more than a 120GB and about £10 more than a 60GB and is well worth it!
  14. I always turn my phone off when sleeping and put it in the charger while sleeping as well to have 100% in the morning If the phone is turned off with 50% when you should have 50% in the morning if you don't charge whereas if you leave it on sleep, some battery will drain
  15. Got a killer deal with EE (UK) for like £37 per month for a new S20 5G (current sale + 25% loyalty discount) Naturally, I have been watching lots of reviews to get to know the phone a bit and hype myself up to get it (arrives tomorrow!) All of the reviews I've watched say that this 6.2" mega phone is 'small'! Coming from the 5.1" of the S7 from 4 years ago, have phones really gotten that big that 6.2" is considered small?
  16. idk if this is true but hdmi 1.4 might be limited to 120hz
  17. I would recommend active cable extensions definitely You could maybe put all of the cables in a cable sleeve but I don't know of any products that can do 20m There are wireless adaptors but I think they are more like 5m
  18. Fair enough. Just different ways of doing it I guess
  19. A top of the range XPS 15 is powerful https://www.dell.com/en-uk/shop/laptops-2-in-1-laptops/new-xps-15/spd/xps-15-9500-laptop/cnx9508
  20. A 3700x and 2070 SUPER on their own with no OC is 365W and OC could push that to 400W and then you have all of the rest of the components. Just saying that I like to play it safe in terms of power supplys and buy a bit more than you need. You future self will thank you and having that extra headroom is useful
  21. I agree that a 500w would be fine but a 650w allows for upgrade ability and overclocking on CPU and GPU, extra storage, more fans ect...
  22. The coding train has good and fun videos to learn the basics https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvjgXvBlbQiydffZU7m1_aw
