    No it's just that I don't want to drop £100 or some insane price on a gpu for it to not reach max performance

    It's literally 2.4ghz if it dosent cause a bottleneck I'm changing out my r5 2600x for one

    It's literally just for no man's sky I have a Vega 64 it's for my grandad who just loves space and adventure games but he carnt play because it runs at 0.5fpz to 2fps

    Hi what is the cheapest gpu in £ that can run no man's sky (720p-1080p range ) apparently the gtx 480 will run the game but not in the latest patches (like origins ) the card is only £20 in the UK used store Cex any from their will be best I just don't know what to look for because if you search cheapest card for nms you get the answer gtx 1060 but their not that cheap Thanks for any help

    Update! It's the CPU I found a older generation lga 775 cpu that's runs at 1.86ghz and it reported correctly thanks for your help

    Yea I got it off eBay I stuck a hd 5850 I had lying around same with the HDD and ssd they're just old ones from my main rig

    Just to point out this isn't my main computer it's a little on I built with spare parts my main one is ryzen 5 with a Vega 56 so im not worried if it is broken

    It worked fine untill today I got both cores boosting to 3ghz and windows found the CPU fine I use it as a little gaming machine as I got it for next to nothing and thought it was wierd it wasn't boosting
