  1. Gotcha, I'll try to clone it following the videos I found as soon as I get that external enclosure! I'm not sure how to check what model the Optane is, do you know where that would be?
  2. So, I have an HP Spectre 15 (2019) with a 500gb Intel Optane SSD in it right now (in the only M.2 slot, so it's my everything drive). I want to upgrade the storage to 1tb and I have a WD Black Sn750 SSD that I got to use. I'm looking into cloning my og drive (I'm going to get an external SSD enclosure to put the new one in for the process and for my old drive to act as extra storage) so I don't need to reinstall everything windows/program wise, but when I was at Best Buy the guy I talked to said they cant clone from Intel Optane. From what I found about regular cloning it seems pretty straightforward so is there anything else special I need to do to make it successful with Optane? Any other general help would be much appreciated, this is my first time trying something like this! ($200 for someone else to do it felt steep lol) Thanks!!
  3. So I am looking into getting more storage for my laptop (HP spectre 15" 2019, with these external ports) and I'm trying to decide between a more 'mainstream' solution in just an external SSD or if I should get an M.2 SSD and enclosure. I mainly want to put games on it from steam/epic games store in order to free up more room on my internal SSD (i.e. leave the SSD on my desk to play games and have storage free internally for when I take my laptop with me for classes). I'm not super familiar with all of the different names and how everything works, but this is kinda what I was thinking when I say external enclosure (not sure how common these are). I had also seen some that had built in docks that I thought I could use with my second monitor - Sabrent USB 3.2 Type-C Tool-Free Enclosure for M.2 PCIe NVMe and SATA SSDs - this is the ssd w/ hub, but I'd rather avoid Kickstarter The other option would be something like this from Best Buy or Amazon or something - Samsung - T7 500GB External USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable Solid State Drive Those are just examples to show what I was talking about, so I am VERY open to different suggestions about it just trying not to break the bank on it lol. I was also thinking it could be possible to replace my laptops 500gb SSD with a 1TB one and put the old one in the enclosure. I've never done anything like this so any advice/recommendations would be amazing, thanks!!
  4. Not sure if this is the right place for this but: I'm looking into getting multiple cameras to live stream an event and was wondering if it was possible to live stream, using obs, with POE security type cameras. I'm looking into a lot that includes Cisco/Linksys PVC2300 internet POE video cameras and a couple other models. Not sure if it's possible, and if so how would it work (ie. What other equipment would be needed)? Thanks for any help!
  5. Awesome thanks! I've been thinking about getting MC but I have it on my phone and don't know it I wanna buy it again on PC
  6. I was thinking about Minecraft Dungeons but as I looked at Game Pass I saw Ori and the Will of the Wisps and thought it looked interesting. Also games like Overwatch and Rocket league, don't know much about any of these games or if they're considered light gaming but I've seen them around and think they're interesting.
  7. So I just got a new laptop for school (HP Spectre X360 15 inch, early 2019) and I was wandering if it would be possible to do any gaming on it. I have never really been a "gamer" and I know literally nothing about graphics cards but the laptop has a GeForce MX 150 and I was wondering if it was capable of running any games. If it can, what games would it be able to run and what would I need to look for as min requirements on steam(etc)? Not looking to play any extreme games, just something to have fun with. Thanks!!
