You will always get better fps the better your CPU, but most of the time as long as you have 4 threads at a decent speed anything more will probably cost a lot per fps. You are fine, and i3 4130 is a fine CPU. People here are over reacting.

I really hope a 960 is enough for it look halfway decent. I'm even willing to *gasp* play at 30fps.

Go for the same monitor! Specially since the u2414h is perfectly calibrated, almost any other monitor will look weird beside it. Awesome monitor really.

Expensive as it may be to most people, $2000 dollars for the GPUs is honestly not that crazy of a gateway for this amount of performance at this point in time. Video 2: Hardline Water Cooled PC Build Log - Yes, you can play Battlefield on it God, these kind of water cooling projects look so interesting, but I would never be able to justify the cost and invested time for the level of performance I need to work.
