@iHardware Shelden im having problems installing os x on my 755 i made bootables (with the bootloader of course) of el capitan and yosemite but I cant get it to work on the optiplex so from some people's suggetion i tried yosemite distro but i aint working on the 755 .....so i tried it on an old vaio laptop with almost the same specs and the distro booted !! but it aint working on the 755 pls could u tell me what bios settings and the kest and stuff u used [i have the lastest bios and it is in the desktop form factor]

i looked up for gt 1030 and it looks like a really solid option but the gt1030 is pcie 3,0 and my optiplex is 1.0 so are we sure that i'll be getting 60 fps? (i also watched a vid and i saw with a gt1030 fortine at low setting give out 144 fps so id like to try that as well would a gt730 be good (im guessing not at all) cuz it is well under my maxprice range and its pcie 2.0 (closer to 1.0)

ya man i wouldnt do soldiering either the Q6600 and Q6700 is supported for my pc some time ago my dad had put a radeon graphics card in that same optiplex755 im talking about it was good enough to run minecraft and it hade no 6-in or 8-pin connectors i dont know the model of the graphics card but it was good but...we bought an optiplex 780 from someone so he had taken it out of the 755 and put it in the 780 (I had already watched the vids u mentioned and the 69 dollar pc part2 is what inspired me to upgrade it in the 1st place) and now i do music production from the 780 specs:4 gb ddr3 intel Q6700 the radeon graphics card soo with a q6700 and 6 to 8 gigs of ram and the best graphics card can put in this thing. your help is appreciated btw near the pcie x16 slot it says 25w plus my parents arent all supportive with what im doing just looks like i have bad luck 1. hard to find graphics cards in kuwait without it being super overpriced 2. buying stuff online most of the time the shipping is gonna be more than the stuff i order for(90 to 100 bucks) 3. and i dont have much money and im 90% sure my parents wont give me the money im asking for plus plus if they do they will be the people using the pc most of the time and if they realize i want to play games on it YEET THE PC OUT OF THE WINDOW .......most probably change the password and never let me use it again . . . my dreams will never come true

something like csgo would be fine low setting low graphics is a no probs for me i just want it to run csgo at minimum 40 to 60 fps also the reason for the cpu upgrade is that im a music produer i make edm songs on a macbook that i have and i want to use FL Studio on it as im really comfortable with that DAW https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq_IfQqkdkVLg64GpjKR6lg?view_as=subscriber i dont want to play nothing demanding just want to run somthing mw3 or 2 bo2 might be worth a shot

i didnt know they were broken...again im only 13!! thank u so much for the reply but...as i said im on a budget and finding a psu for my case is really hard especially cuz of the country i live in whats the best gpu i can put in this thing without a psu replacement and not to pricey?? any suggestions? Ok. Let me put it straight. I'm a 13yr old I have an optiplex 755 with a stock psu. I it has a core s duo in it not sure what it is though. I wanted to upgrade it to a core 2 quad Q6700 or Q6600 with a gtx 650 with the stock psu it's a 280w psu. 1.is this even possible. 2. Another thing is that the +5v thingy pulls 17A...... So is this possible? Thank u in advance
