  1. Hello guys, I just need some advice on whether I should upgrade or not. I'm using an i3 8100 with my 1660 super. Technically one might say it's a bottleneck and sure as hell I've noticed that on some games. But I'm not playing much CPU intensive games, mainly because I know my CPU is not that powerful. Nowadays, I stream APEX LEGENDS and I've already configured apex to only use mostly 50 to 60% of my CPU when it's the only intensive app running (together with Mozilla), but whenever I run Streamlabs OBS it says either 90 to 100% and my stream lags so much it's unwatchable, but my game does not lag at all, I've capped it at 70fps since I'm using 60hz monitor. Just so you know I'm still a student and not in a well-off family. My budget is tight and if ever I can get a workaround fix for this one I'd rather do that than upgrading to a ryzen 2600. BTW, I only stream apex legends or sometimes Valorant and the like. And what's this NVENC?? Thank you for the help
  2. 61°c at 88% Fan Speed more than halfway thru the process. Anyway, where can I compare my Results?
  3. Am I supposed to finish this WHOLE test? It's like a long process of orange and swirling circle?
  4. There's a bit of a laggy sensation whenever it hits 59. And it seems better when it's at 70 or above. And it always dips down even when there's no action in the game.
  5. I'll look at this. And if it really does get bottlenecked then there I'll consider an upgrade. Thanks for the help. But this has nothing to do with my monitor right?
  6. I'm sorry what is DDU, and can you recommend a good app for stress test? Thank you so much
  7. So am I bottlenecked or not? Surely I saw a YouTube vid with my same specs but it didn't say anything about the ram and the monitor. And he/she got higher frames than mine
  8. 70 FPS is nice indeed but benchmarks from other people get 90fps on 1080p and I'm not even in 1080p.
  9. I'm a new member and I specifically joined to ask this. I have a mid range(?) build i3-8100 GTX 1660 super 16gb 2666 RAM and an old VGA 60hz HP monitor which is at 1440x900. As per benchmarks I see on YouTube and Google, I should get pretty decent frames while playing up to date games like farcry, PUBG, Apex and so on. But I get nothing. I barely hit 70fps on ultra on farcry, I don't get stable 80fps on Apex and roughly hit 60 on PUBG, and it's not even on highest settings. Is there anything wrong with my build or my software or anything?
