  1. Thank you everyone, I think I know what to do. Kind regards Patrick
  2. Would the: Asus TUF Z390M-Pro Gaming, be compatible? And would I need to be sure which BIOS it's updated for?
  3. Thank you, but I'm not interested in selling. I play a lot of CPU - bound games, and the i9900k is a clear upgrade for me. The motherboards I've been looking at aren't expensive, I'm just not sure they fit with the rest of my components.
  4. Dear Forum I need some help picking a motherboard. My employer was about to throw out a i9 9900k, unbroken seal and everything. I realized it's better than my ryzen 5 3600. So I decided to upgrade a little. I have Corsair CMU64GX4M4C3000C15 4x16GB [64 GB] RAM 3000 MHz an RTX 3070 [don't remember the specs, but it's pretty standard in size and air cooling] I have a large compatible liquid Kraken CPU Cooler and a 850w (silver rated?) power supply. All I need is a motherboard which can fit it all. And I'm completely clueless, as it's an older CPU. (A plus is if it has more than one m.2 NVMe slot) Kind regards Patrick
  5. DDU ? Sorry I don't know what that is
  6. Hi ! After some truly awful costumer support from Dell [Was offered that they would look into it for the low - low price of 99USD despite product still in warranty] Giving up on them I turn to the forum FreeSync causes uncomfortable flickering - and I don't know how to fix it. I have been suggested to "Turn down" the FPS But I don't know the best way to do this? Is there a good piece of software that does this? The issue is both prevalent in windows- and in games. My monitor: 31 inch Dell d3220dgf Freesync2, 2560x1440, 165 hz HDR PC it's running on: AMD Asus TUF B450M-Plus AM4 bundkort AMD Ryzen 5 3600 4.2GHz 6-core AM4 CPU 2x DDR4-3200 Corsair 8GB Vengeance RAM SSD Intel 660P 1TB NVMe M.2 (SSD) AMD Radeon RX 5700XT 8GB ROG Strix CASE Corsair Carbide VG-275R TG Kabinet PSU Corsair VS550 550W 80+
  7. Hi I'm having issues with my: 31 inch Dell d3220dgf Freesync2, 2560x1440, HDR, 165 hz screen. Everything runs perfect except if I enable Freesync, it will then create small stutters and 'flickering' in games and in windows in general. Is there some way for me to edit the frames that it is outputting? I'd much rather have 144hz which are smooth with freesync, than 165 without freesync. Suggestions are very much welcome PC specs: AMD Asus TUF B450M-Plus AM4 motherboard AMD Ryzen 5 3600 4.2GHz 6-core AM4 CPU 2x DDR4-3200 Corsair 8GB Vengeance RAM SSD Intel 660P 1TB NVMe M.2 (SSD) AMD Radeon RX 5700XT 8GB ROG Strix CASE Corsair Carbide VG-275R TG Kabinet PSU Corsair VS550 550W 80+
  8. Hi Thanks to the forum, I know that I need to 'turn down' the Hz of my moniter to make Freesync run better. [It was causing flickering in windows as well as in games] My monitor: 31 inch Dell d3220dgf Freesync2, 2560x1440, 165 hz What's the best way to turn down the amount of hz or fps the display and pc outputs? I know there's some software called GRU? is that the easiest way to edit it? PC it's running on: AMD Asus TUF B450M-Plus AM4 bundkort AMD Ryzen 5 3600 4.2GHz 6-core AM4 CPU 2x DDR4-3200 Corsair 8GB Vengeance RAM SSD Intel 660P 1TB NVMe M.2 (SSD) AMD Radeon RX 5700XT 8GB ROG Strix CASE Corsair Carbide VG-275R TG Kabinet PSU Corsair VS550 550W 80+
  9. If i enable freesync it causes general flickering. In Windows as well as in games. It seems like the screen can't really handle Freesync at 165hz, i'm just in doubt of how to fix it.
  10. This is always annoying, god help you if you try it in a game like skyrim.
  11. When I google this it's sugguesting the software called GRU, is that the best way to change my fps? Or is there a simpler- or better way?
  12. How do I edit FPS limits correctly?
  13. I'm running on a 'red build' AMD Asus TUF B450M-Plus AM4 motherboard AMD Ryzen 5 3600 4.2GHz 6-core AM4 CPU 2x DDR4-3200 Corsair 8GB Vengeance RAM SSD Intel 660P 1TB NVMe M.2 (SSD) AMD Radeon RX 5700XT 8GB ROG Strix CASE Corsair Carbide VG-275R TG Cabinet PSU Corsair VS550 550W 80+
  14. The screens would be used for recreational stuff, like video games or the such. Most of the time they would just show stuff like sales-numbers and new MRR numbers.
  15. Hey I bought a 2560x1400 165 FPS, 31 inch HDR dell monitor. I'm generally super happy with the product, but when I activate Freesync 2 [one of the reasons I picked this screen] it starts flickering. Nothing huge but it's noticeable What do i do? Is it a freesync issue? is it a settings issue? -thank you
  16. Well the thing is we want something large and a little 'over-the-top'. He wants large screen real-estate. If we're not going for the 4x 42 inc, then we'd do something like 1x 70 inch
  17. What Nvidia Graphics? The company goes far and beyond for being environmentally aware, so if I buy anything they prefer it is used. Would one large 4K screen be a better bet?
  18. Hi everyone, long time fan of the forum- first time writing. I started working at an awesome new job a few months ago, and my limited tech knowledge made me the go-to tech guy. My boss wants 4 active screens controlled by one PC. What would be required? What specs would i need the PC to be? Any pitfalls I should be aware of? Thanks for your time. -Patrick
