  1. This might sound like a dumb question, but does anyone know when the intel 11th gen CPUs are coming out in laptops? I’m in the market for a new one and I am deciding if I should wait for the new CPU to drop.
  2. Having a hard time deciding on what laptop to get. The Lenovo Idea Pad Slim 7 GTX or The MSI Prestige 14/15. I know that MSI is coming out with a new version here soon with the new Intel CPU chip, but i am not sure when it will be released. I also don know if the specs are considered better on one or the other. I will do some light gaming on here as well as school work. Suggestions?
  3. Budget (including currency): $600 to $800 Country: USA Looking to build a new budget PC or possibly get a pre-built one. I would do some gaming and maybe some streaming as well down the line. I would be playing some cod warzone and league of legends. I will use the build for doing some school work on it as well. Here are parts i picked out but would like some feedback as well as ideas to maybe save a few dollars. The list includes getting a monitor, headset, keyboard and mouse as well. the $600 to $800 price point is for the build only. The starter pc i would probably purchase if i dont build one is the NZXT starter, unless people have other suggestions as well. https://www.letsbld.com/starter-series PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 3 3100 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor $114.99 @ B&H Motherboard Gigabyte B450 AORUS PRO WIFI (rev. 1.0) ATX AM4 Motherboard $129.99 @ B&H Memory Crucial Ballistix 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory $74.99 @ B&H Storage Silicon Power A60 256 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $37.99 @ Amazon Storage Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $54.99 @ Amazon Video Card Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB GAMING OC Video Card $249.99 @ B&H Case Metallic Gear Neo Air ATX ATX Mid Tower Case $64.98 @ Newegg Power Supply EVGA BR 700 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply $74.99 @ Best Buy Case Fan Corsair AF120 (2018) 52 CFM 120 mm Fan $14.99 @ Amazon Monitor Sceptre C248W-1920RN 23.6" 1920x1080 75 Hz Monitor $129.99 @ Amazon Keyboard Redragon S113 RGB Wired Gaming Keyboard With Optical Mouse $39.99 @ Amazon Headphones Corsair HS45 SURROUND 7.1 Channel Headset $49.99 @ Best Buy Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $1037.87 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-09-07 16:32 EDT-0400
  4. It’s hard because I would like to have a ryzen processor as well but not very many laptops have them yet. I do like the HP envy 13 inch build the most, but i would like more ram as well. I’m not a fan of 15 inch laptops because they always have the number pad on them. Have you checked out the MSI modern laptops or their prestige models?
  5. Battery life could be like 8 to 10 hours. I don’t need a gpu to be a 2060 or anything but maybe around a 1650. The gaming will be along the lines like league of legends and some strategy games.
  6. Im having a hard time choosing a new laptop and would like some help. Looking for 16 gb of ram and 512 gb of storage space. My budget is about $1200 USD. I would like to do some very lite gaming on it but it will be used for school as well. I like the thin and lite type laptops. Open to suggestions and debate on these laptops.

  8. Hello, I am currently in the market for a new laptop and i am having a tough time deciding on what one to get. I would like to to have 12-16 gb of ram, more than 500gb of storage as well as a pretty decent processor and graphics for no more than $1200. some models i have looked at included the Dell XPS 13, Lenovo Yoga C940, Asus Zenbook, MSI Prestige 14, and the HP Envy 360. I know they all have their pros and cons but i am having a hard time deciding what would be best. I am open to other suggestions if people have them. This computer will be used for graduate school and some light gaming. I would like to also be able to connect it to a monitor as well. Any input? Thanks!!!!
  9. The 5600 XT is $289 and the RTX 2016 is going for $300.
  10. Hello, I wanted to get people opinion on what graphics card is better. Would you rather have a EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB KO GAMING Video Card or a Sapphire Radeon RX 5600 XT 6 GB PULSE Video Card?
  11. Budget (including currency): Around $800 USD Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: This will be my first PC Build for gaming and maybe some music and video editing. I really like white cases, but its not a big deal for me. Games i would like to play are some battle royal types like Warzone and Apex as well as games like GTAV and some MMORPG. I want the PC to be $800-ish because i want to spend some other money on a monitor, keyboard and mouse to make the total around $1000. Suggestions on those would be great as well!
