  1. So I should just go with the new MB and Intel to get the most out of my setup? Which one is better in regards to 12900K and 12900KF? Personally, I always like having the best of the best stuff so that my PC runs the best it can (besides like a 3090). That's why I'm asking about the CPU and if the MB is good as well. Again I don't mind the money so I just want to make sure it's great YK. Thank you for helping BTW.
  2. Budget (including currency): No Budget Country: U.S. Games, programs, or workloads that it will be used for: Cod, Val, Siege, and Streaming/ comp gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Meg x570 ace MB, DDR4 3600, 3900x, 3080. I'll be playing at 1080p and I want the most frames possible. currently at 170-210, but would like 240 and up. I was thinking about upgrading my CPU and RAM. I didn't know whether I should make the full switch to intel and go with the 12900K ( or if there is a better option) or stick with AMD and go with the 5900X. I don't mind switching if it'll be better overall but my goal is a ton of frames and still being able to stream as well. I was also thinking about upgrading to DDR5, but not sure if it's worth it yet and wanted some opinions on it.
  3. Not sure if you’ll read this or if anyone can help, but could having a bad cable cause my secondary monitors to lag when I’m gaming/streaming?
I’ve replaced everything besides my gpu and cables at this point and when I begin playing a game my secondary monitors become basically 20fps monitors and I can’t figure out why.
    Specs:
    3080
Have a 3700x currently but also had 5900x same issue still occurred
    MSI MEG X570 MB
    1000w PSU
    H150i Corsair water cooler
    3600 DDR4 g skill ram.
If anyone knows why this is happening I’d love the input because I’m stuck.
I’ve replaced the MB,PSU,CPU,CPU cooler, And RAM. I’ve tried everything to my knowledge and it runs fine until I play games and try todo something else on the side.

You shouldve had the courtesy to ask that in the first place, but here.

      1. Get a copy for it yourself

      2. Run it

      3. The default should be the base profile, which applies globally.

      4. Find "display performance mode" and switch it to multi display.

  9. got a big budget 3500 but still not sure what to get cause all I play is cod and rainbow while I stream so idk which one will do the best for me
  10. I am building my first pc this year and just needed some help on choosing between cpus. I know I want Ryzen but not sure which one to get for a single gaming/streaming set up. I was looking at the 3700x 3900x and 3950x but not sure which to get. I want good fps with still holding the ability to stream at a high quality and not drop frames.
  11. Still learning all this too.
