  1. Generally look for burnt areas on the motherboard around components. If it is a PSU issue it could have also could have damaged the MB at the same time.
  2. My friend had this issues on his X299 chip-set setup, and it turned out to be the motherboard. Try to check if any of the capacitors show any damage.
  3. Hello everyone! Yesterday I turned my PC on and it got stuck between POST and OS, the motherboard show Q-Code AE. After some googling, I am sure I am getting past POST and the OS is not starting to load, due to a USB device. So, I started unplugging devices until it loaded the OS. I ended up unplugging every external USB device. So I plugged them all back in and rebooted, still got an AE code. So I then unplugged my Corsair Lighting Node Pro USB connector, with all external device connected, and it booted fine! God damn it RGB! Once loaded, I forced a firmware update to the Lighting Node Pro but still got AE code on boot-up. So I have now left my Lighting Node Pro unplugged and my PC boots every time. Has anyone had an issue like this? Does anyone have any good ideas on how I can get this working again? P.S I will also log a ticket with Corsair to see what they say.
