  1. I'm building a dual system in the Enthoo 719 which only has a single psu slot. The Revolt X is the only psu I know of that can power two systems at the same time, and when I started getting parts for that build I didn't buy the psu since the new Ryzens and Nvidia cards were coming out. Now they're sold out everywhere and I can't complete the build with a different psu to my knowledge at least.
  2. Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy a Revolt X PSU, either 1000 or 1200w. All of the ones I can buy from retailers are wicked over priced and I'm already pushing my budget with having to spend more money on both a CPU and GPU than I expected. Looking for MSRP+$50. Live in Washington state, paying with paypal.
  3. Man I wish I had the technical knowledge it takes to do something like that because I would really like to attempt something like this. I guess logically speaking there really isn't a market for it since dual PC cases already exist and you could just have two different boards but the concept of having an AMD and Intel cpu working on the same board just fascinates me.
  4. What made the socket die out? I assume just differences between the two companies architectures in future models? I feel like that would be really cool to see nowadays if there's any socket 7 boards out there that work!
  5. I mean I'm sure I'd there was a board for it then enthusiast would 100% jump on that to have the best rigs possible whether they're for gaming or editing/rendering. Would anything stop someone from making their own franken-board that's capable of it?
  6. I honestly have no clue, I'm no so skilled in the technical aspects of, well, tech... How do you think this would be done if it's even possible? Perhaps they could make a whole new chipset that works with both AMD and Intel chips? It would be like a server motherboard but with two different sockets on it running two different chips.
  7. I've been thinking for a while tonight about a motherboard that has both an Intel socket and an AMD socket and was wondering if that would even be possible and if not why? I feel like it would be really cool to have the truely ultimate pc with both an Intel cpu for pure gaming performance and an AMD for productivity. All in all just an interesting idea I thought could make a neat discussion on how it would or wouldn't work.
