Noxz reacted to GlassBomb in Can't properly follow content you've posted in anymore? Here's a solution.
Alright, so I know that a few people used to follow threads that they posted in, without wanting the mess of all the notifications and everything that came with properly following a thread. But now when we changed over to the new and 'improved' forum this all changed. Well, let me tell you what. I am here to help you. This guide here is so that you can much easier see when new comments have been added to a thread that you have posted in, without having to properly follow it or anything like that.

First off, go here. https://linustechtips.com/main/discover/content-posted/ Then from there, you can change a few things. Me personally, I changed so that feed becomes the default stream, along with choosing the condensed view. Really helps to make the whole thing a lot more compact. But this is also where we can access the editing for the streams that we have. Click here to see a picture of where to get to all previous mentioned things.
So, now there really isn't much left. After you have opened up the editing window, then all of the changes that you have to change is up at the left. Change the "Show me" from the "Content items, comments, and reviews" to the "Content items only". And then hit the update button. Bam! Now you should be done. Click here to see a picture of the settings I use.

You should now have a much easier time to check in and see updates in threads that you have posted content in without having a cluttered mess. Hope it helped!

    So, hey guys!

These are the parts I've ordered (list will be updated):

    CPUs :
    Intel i5-6600k (Arrived)
    Cryorig coolers (Arrived)

    Mobos :
    Asus Maximus VIII Impact (Arrived)
    Asus Z170I Pro Gaming  (Arrived)

    SSDs :
    Intel 535 240 GB (Arrived)
Samsung Evo 950 PRO 256GB (Arrived)
Samsung Evo 840 250 GB (Arrived)

    Ram :
    2x4GB Crucial (Arrived)

    GPU :
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750Ti Super Low Profile (Arrived)

    PSUs :
NeGenuine 20V 17.5A 350W for HP FireBird (Arrived)
    HDPlex 250w (Arrived)
    HDPlex 160w (Arrived)

    Fans :
Two 80mm fans and a 40mm fan I belive. (Arrived)

My plan is to take the Maximus and the 6600k and check if they can together with the Intel SSD and the GPU use less than 250w. If they're taking more than this I will have to try to connect both HDplex PSUs. But I'm not sure if this will work. If nothing works I'll take the Z170I with the Pentium and install everything on this mobo with the Samsung SSD and the Intel one.

Photos coming soon. Stay awesome, and feel free to share the buildlog

take selfies and so much more!

You can either program it yourself (supereasy, no experience needed
what so ever), you can make it buy Groceries, order pizza, find your
phone, turn on/off the lights, play music, "Lanch Netflix & Chill" mode,
track you pet or your waifu. Whatever you need it to do, it will most likely

I hope you like this then:

Finally got around to taking the case apart, and actually mounting this part.   This was made easy since I had a version 1 that was slightly wrong cut I could use as a template.     The V1 that I used as template for the drilling.     Look at that fit:D It litterally snaps in place!     Tools I will be using.     used a drill to mark up where the holes needed to be.     after that, I used this thing to punch a small hole in the plate.     This does so that the drill does not fly off to one of the sides when drilling.     Making a mess is something I am very good at.     All mounted, and all cables put in to see if the length was somewhat correct.     Starting to really like this one:D     The cables still needs to be adjusted to sit completely perfect, but I am getting there.     The 8 pin also needs a bit of work still.     Rear side. I will most likely end up getting a second 6 tb drive and a bigger SSD.     I do not think I need to use the cable cover plate for this build:D   Next up, milling a huge block of acrylic!

Nonono, we're doing just fine outside EU. We'll live great the next 20 years. After that it's all hell breaking loose when we're out of oil.

The norwegian kroner is so low due to the oil price beeing cut in half ( from 100+ usd to 40 usd ((for one oil drum?)150L+/-)). But now our hardware prices are more fair due to our high wages. But f*ck that. I want my cheap hardware back ^-^

One dollar was worth 6 kroners for a while ago and now it's at 8.3 kroners. Thats an increase on almost 40%.

Let's say I go and buy a 980 today for 5550 kroner. If our currency didnt decrease so much in value, then I could have bought the same video card for only 3975 kroner.

    Canada pls.
