  1. Was pondering a second fan for my cooler, but my question is. Should I use the included splitter to the same cpu fan header or can I plug it into the 2nd cpu/water pump header?
  2. Ide clean it off and re apply, either mx4 or noctua nt h1 or 2. I hope you can ignore the noise from that thing, I couldn't.
  3. I'm leaning towards the game bar, and TofuHarato, we agree, we both have the meshify c
  4. Have you tried turning it off and on again.
  5. Check the cooler is installed correctly, ide ditch it tho and get an aftermarket cooler. Try undervolting too.
  6. I've bought a little fan to put over the vrm's on my b450m steel legend. I'm going to sit it directly on top of the (elbow) between the 2 vrm heatsinks, blowing straight down. I have the U14S tower heatsink, 1 exhaust back, 1 exhaust rear top and this fan will sit between them all. (2 front intake) My question is, how will this affect airflow, will it be ok. I have done a quick crap illustration for you to look at, laugh at and generally take the mick.
  7. Is it ok to set my 2700x to its base clock 3.7mhz and undervolt it. On B450M Steel Legend. Got a noctua nh U14S and I'm sick of reading about the vrm's on this board. Just wondered if undervolting and running 3.7 all cores would help. Not bothered about the performance hit, sorting a small fan for the vrm's. Am I overthinking this.
  8. I've just replaced the stock wraith prism on my 2700x for a noctua nh U14S. I have the b450m steel legend. I have just bought a little 80mm fan to point down at the vrms for a bit of extra cooling. My question is should I position it directly above the vrm's, or mount it higher up nearer the glass side panel of my case? Does it matter or will it affect airflow either one of these positions, it will be sat between the rear of the Noctua and infont of the rear exhaust fan, and under the top exhaust fan.
  9. I was planning on using a small noctua fan and aiming it dowm between the elbow gap between the two heatsink. Would that be OK?
  10. Splendid, I had an idea but wanted it confirming. Have the Noctua NH U14s but i would like to put a small fan pointed down at those too. Case airflow is good, 2 intake/2 exhaust (1 rear 1 top above the heatsink and vrm) Also set the U14S fan as low down as I could to blow some air across. In a meshify c mini. Just want to be sure.
  11. Can anyone tell me where the vrm's are located on B450M steel legend. I would like to add a small fan for extra cooling.
  12. Well, I went for the NH U14s, it's in, sat the fan as low as I could on the heatsink, the temps are even better than they were, and the noise levels have drastically improved. I went the whole hog and used n2 paste rather than the n1 paste that comes with the cooler, slightly different application method. Wish ide done it sooner. Very happy.
