  1. Anything showing up in Windows Event Viewer?
  2. I think it somehow did. When I try the PSU, it makes a click noise on power up attempt. another PSU i had laying around doesn't click, but the mobo gives a single red blink on cpu debug light. so i think im looking at at least cpu and psu replacement, if not cpu/mobo both + psu. i'm just worried that i'll fry any other parts i try to test my mobo and cpu with. not sure what to do.
  3. lol nah im not that upset about it. i was just pissed it happened the same day i bought a desk big enough to get my tower off the floor. i knew something was going to happen. my luck.
  4. will they accept an rma even since the issue is not manufacturing error?
  5. well not the whole thing lol. i just built it in december. i want to narrow down what part is fried to replace it.
  6. that is what i want to do. thanks for the suggestion. you don't think if any of my parts are bad that they will damage his?
  7. Still the same issue. cpu light blinks once and nothing happens.
  8. I cleaned it monday, so it has been 6 days. I'll test it in a minute and get back.
  9. it has been about a week since i cleaned it. i was waiting to see if i could put it in my brothers system, but i second guessed myself cause i'd hate to kill his system trying to troubleshoot mine. i might breadboard again and try it and see what happens. thanks.
  10. yes gpu has a backplate, i took it apart and cleaned it out. no milk on the actual pcb, just in the fan.
  11. no sparking or burning. i think it may have just shorted something and fried internals. no 100% sure.
  12. wasn't solid red, single red blink on cpu light. mobo manual only talks about solid red. already reseated ram and cpu and every other part as i mentioned i took the entire system apart to clean out the milk.
  13. does my what have a backplate? psu was installed fan downwards. milk just dripped down the side. pc was on floor, milk was on the desk... shit happens.
  14. As the title says, milk was spilled into my pc tower the same day I bought a bigger desk to get it off the floor . I turned it off completely, pulled everything apart, and cleaned it the best I that could with isopropyl alcohol and lint free paper towels. Afterwards, I breadboarded the mobo to test it and make sure it works before reassembling and it does not post. While breadboarding, I touch the power switch terminals, I get mobo rgb lighting, RAM rgb lighting, then I get a single red light blink once on the CPU debug LED. specs: Aorus B450 Pro Wifi Ryzen 5 3600 GSkill Trident 16GB 3200Mhz ASUS GTX1660 super Thermaltake 850W Gold psu My question is, what's the best way to go about testing it? Does the single red light blink on cpu debug mean the cpu is fried? What about the mobo? My brother has an identical setup, will interchanging our parts to test mine fry his system? I will buy a new motherboard and cpu both if necessary, but I only want to get what I need and I would hate to have to return something.
