  1. I just ordered a Ryzen 3600X, the MSI B450 Gaming Pro Max and a AIO Watercooler from Coolermaster. I feel like a kid before christmas. Thanks for everyone for assiting me in this decision and i will post again everything is here and in my case. Greetings from Austria
  2. i will try that, but it will only be a temporary solution, but thanks for the tip.
  3. that explains a lot. I was originally uprading my gpu to boost my fps but now i see that the cpu is the problem. in your opinion should i go for the i7 (and which one should i pick) or should i change my motherboard and go for an amd cpu instead (i heard amd is getting way better than intel lately)
  4. I was just watching the Video about what could be bottlenecking and i immediatly followed linuses advice about asking for help here. the thing is i just updated my GPU from a MSI GTX 1070 to a RTX 2070 and i was wondering if my cpu is now the reason that my gaming experience isnt really what i was hoping for. so first of all the specs of my system: CPU: Intel core i5-6600K 3,5 ghz (running currently OC at 4,1 ghz) GPU: MSI RTX 2070 Super (3 fans Edition) Motherboard: MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon (MS-7a12) RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x8 gb ddr4 Powersupply: 600watt CPU Cooling: be quiet 1x140mm fan Monitor: HP 25x (144hz) at 1920x1080 i am mostly playing fps games like Apex, PUBG, Overwatch and sometimes thoose grafic heavy games like RDR2 (50-60 fps on high) or FC4 (50-90 fps on high). The thing is that even with my settings on medium i cant reach consistent 144hz in Apex. Most of the times it sits around 100-130 fps and drops down to 80 or even 60 fps sometimes. The CPU is always close to 100% usage while the gpu sits around 70-90%. Temperatures are in the normal area, even tough upgrading to watercooling always was something i was keen to do. So i would really need advice if i should uprade my CPU (I7-6700k comes to mind) or even change out my motheboard and switch to the red side. The Problem on the one hand is money (the usual) and the other hand knowledge. I know my Intel CPUs but when it comes to AMD i am completely lost. In conclusion i would be very grateful for any advice and tips. PS: Please forgive my bad english i am a native austrian (mozart) Joseph
