Sorry for bad fps, but I had to run streamlabs on intelHD, game runs fine on my nvidia. Video You can see that I have internet on 5GHz wifi, i run game, log in and i lose internet but not wifi connection. When i do the same on 2.4GHz game let me log in and I can play. Some1 told me to turn off ipv6, didn't work tho.

Hey! I have 600/120mbps internet, nokia G240W-F modem with TP-Link C6 router, i set up 2.4 and 5GHz wifi. I can use internet on 5GHz wifi all day, watch twitch for hours, download 100GB game from steam, but when I try to connect to game server, I lose internet every time i hit "log in" button. It doesn not happen when I'm on 2.4GHz, I can log in and play Path of Exile etc. When I fail to connect with game server with 5GHz wifi, I"m still connected, but I have no internet. The weird part is I have to connect do 2.4GHz and switch back to 5GHz to restore internet access on this wifi. It doesn't matter how far I am from router, it happens anyway even if i put my laptop next to it. It's MSi GF63 with intel AC 9462, so I'm sure it can use 5GHz wifi. Soon I'll download OBS and record how it works step by step.

This is my family house and I don't even live here, I just visit my parents for holidays, comfort is top tier priority so any wired connection to router is out of the discussion. It's just for my dad so he can download games from steam on his laptop or play on ps4 and my mom to watch netflix. After all this research about NGO-12 wall socket, SC APC photonic cable and shit, I will just buy some random TP-Link Archer C7, connect it with rj45 to this garbage nokia i got from ISP and call it a day. I just thought I can but one device, screw it to the wall and that's all, instead I have to make little shelf for both of them and change wall power plug from 1 to 2 slots.

Ok, this is some weird shit, im noob when it comes to internet devices, but at least i learn something today. I have optic socket NGO-12 and my modem needs photonic SC APC cable, looks like there are not that many modem + router combos with this feature, at least nothing is available in polsh online shops. The best thing I can do is just mount a shelf there and put this nokia and 5ghz router there and connect them with rj45. Sadly I have only one power plug near this NGO-12 socket, so I have work around it somehow.

There are carpets in my house :X Not a single device will be connected to router via cable.

Hey! I just got my 600/120 fiber after years of pathethic 10/1 phone internet. Sadly my internet provider gave me some weak nokia g-240w-f with only 2.4ghz wifi, so it bottleneck my wifi to 100/100 (i plug laptop via rj45 and got 580/115 with no problem, so it's 100% wifi fault). I'm looking for modem and router combo with 5ghz wifi, that i can plug directly into wall-mount fiber socket (via optical cable? not sure). I'm sure that my laptop (intel AC 9462 card) and ps4 slim can connect via 5ghz, also i know that 5ghz has lower range, but my desk where i sit with my laptop is like 5m from router, i just dont want a single cable, because pets will stumble over it. Is ~100euro enough? Also I live in poland, so I'm looking for some worldwide mainstream brands that will be available in this shithole country. Thanks!
