I'm going to ask them to try a DP, would you recommend a normal DP - DP or DP - VGI?

So my client who bought it off me the GPU is an rx580 and they have a DVI plugged in, however, they are still experiencing flickering and black screens.

This is regarding a product that I have sold. I have mentioned that they may need to use a DVI, I'm not 100% if they are using a HDMI or not. Despite this, would that cause the monitor flicker and turn off when selecting any hz above 60+. Are there any other factors that can contribute to this problem, suchas, GPU, resolution etc.. If so, how?

Hi everyone, I just tried to turn my Hz above 60 to 144hz, my monitor is an AOC G2460PF which supports 144hz. When I clicked on a hz above 60 it flickered and turned off. Anyone know some of the factors or the exact reason why?
