  1. Thanks! So basically get a gigabit router and run it as an AP or get the switch + PoE AP. I think i will go for whichever is cheaper for me.
  2. Oh just realized that it was a bridge, thanks for pointing that out. i also saw http://www.dlink.com.sg/product/dap-1665-ac1200-wireless-access-point/#nf_overview what do you think?
  3. Not sure if that is available in Singapore. What about something like https://www.asus.com/sg/Networking/EAAC87/overview/ if i can't get my hands on that
  4. So you are saying that i have the switch in the master bedroom connected to the 15meter LAN, and have an AP connected to the switch?
  5. I do have Gigabit fiber. My fiber modem is actually a modem router hybrid thingy. So there is already wireless in my house, but as usual with this kind of modem routers is that their WiFi are terrible.
  6. So what's your suggestion for my setup?
  7. 1 port for desktop and maybe another port for future proof
  8. Scenario: Fiber modem-router at living room, new desktop in master bedroom, wants to have it connected via LAN but also need good WiFi signal with same SSID in the room. I have a 15m CAT cable long enough to reach master bedroom from modem. Question: Is there any AP with multiple ports that can also work as desktop switch. Any kind of help is appreciated, thanks!
  9. Mine is stuck on "Cleaning up mount directory" for an hour already.
  10. Recently helped a friend with an i5-6600 build. Faced the error when using bootable win7 install. Found this tool from Intel. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25476/Windows-7-USB-3-0-Creator-Utility Haven't tried it yet, will give update as soon as i do.
  11. Thank you for the reply! I have updated first post.
  12. Is anyone familiar with SugarCRM? I have an project close to it's deadline but I still cant figure it out. 6.5.21 CE running on Local machine using Xampp Project requires: Customers (Will probably just use contacts) Name address etc. CusLoyalty points List of items each item will have cost of loyalty points Redemption system Pick an item to redeem(e.g $30 Voucher) Loyalty points will be deducted from contacts I am completely new to SugarCRM... this is what i have done so far, Added integer field in "Contacts" for points Created a Custom module "items" from modulebuilder Added a drop down field in "items" with a few test item Created a Custom module "Redemption" from modulebuilder Added a relate field in "Redemption" for "contacts" Added a relate field in "Redemption" for "items" But I have no idea where to go from here.. How can I deduct the points from contacts through Redemption? How to assign a cost to items I did some search and saw someone using calculated fields but I can't seem to find it. Then I read about LogicHooks and took a plunge at it and failing badly. Please point me in the right direction, any kind of help will be appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance!
