  1. I'm going to buy a new router and managed to narrow it down to this 2. https://www.asus.com/networking-iot-servers/wifi-routers/asus-wifi-routers/rt-ax53u/ https://www.asus.com/networking-iot-servers/wifi-routers/asus-wifi-routers/rt-ax1800hp/ there's about a $10 difference in price where RT-AX1800HP is the more expensive one. But I can't really tell what's different between them other than RT-AX1800HP has 4 ports and RT-AX53U has 3. thank you
  2. I'm not wanting to get 240fps from Cyberpunk. I just want it to be pretty and have DLSS on a budget.
  3. the 40 series will be too expensive so won't really be budget friendly.
  4. I have a 5600x and a 240hz monitor. I currently have a 1060 6GB Gigabyte G1 https://www.gigabyte.com/ph/Graphics-Card/GV-N1060G1-GAMING-6GD-rev-10#kf I'm looking to upgrade in the near future. What I'm looking for is a card that can handle Cyberpunk with DLSS at 60fps if possible I'm not sure if a 3060 can do that? or should I just go 3070? thank you
  5. that's a valid point, and you're right i don't plan to upgrade for a while after this one and I don't really mind a lower priced mobo. Does anyone know if all of them in the list support secure boot for windows 11?
  6. I think I'll go with MSI MAG B550M Mortar. thank you all for your feedback and help
  7. thanks just noticed the flash button on the rest of them thought it was only the MSI B550-A PRO that had it. though I can always ask the shop to update the bios if it's not yet updated as well
  8. oh thanks you. now it's just to decide which one of those to choose then.
  9. I just based it on what pcpartpicker prompted whenever i selected one of those boards.
  10. this is my existing build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TLnKGL I'm only upgrading the board and cpu. I'm buying locally and have been calling up my local stores for their stock and so far I've narrowed it down to this: for the new build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rJvYwc this 2 doesn't need a bios update ASUS PRIME B550M-A (WIFI) II MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX the list below needs a bios update MSI B550-A PRO MSI MAG B550M Mortar MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk MSI MAG B550M Bazooka I'm more inclined to go with the 2 that doesn't need a bios update since I'm not sure if the store will update the bios for me and i'm not that confident in doing it my self. I'm a software developer and part time gamer. Those in the list are all within my budget. I just don't want to spend money for a board with wifi when I don't need it but might have no choice because it seems to be the most compatible one. also, there's a chance i need to stay with micro-atx because i think i lost my extra standoffs so I have to look for them if I go with an atx board. thank you for your feedback.
  11. those are all part of my existing setup. I'm just upgrading the board and cpu atm. aye, I'm looking around to find one that doesn't need a bios update. I found a few but they all have wifi and i don't need wifi but if i can't really find any better ones I'll just get the one with wifi.
  12. aye it does. Also, PC Part Picker warned about a need to update the bios for the CPU to be compatible but I'm not sure if that applies to all boards as well but looks like I'll have to look around for a diff board that might be cheaper. Does anyone have a recommendation? something with a pre-installed IO shield would be ideal as I've never had one before. I found a better deal and it supports the storage as well: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/d26yyK the board + cpu is bundled for $350 and I can finally use my keyboard in BT mode thanks for all the help everyone and teaching me pc part picker can solve most of my questions. p.s I can't believe i'm only drawing that much power
  13. the board is bundled with ryzen 5 5600x. i have the extra ssd on hand already and was wondering if it's compatible so that i don't have to buy a new one. thank you
  14. Is "Asrock B550M Steel Legend" https://motherboarddb.com/motherboards/1782/B550M Steel Legend/ compatible with https://www.westerndigital.com/en-ap/products/internal-drives/wd-green-sata-m-2-ssd#WDS480G3G0B thank you
  15. I'm looking for a wireless gaming headset that can connect to mobile via wireless dongle or bluetooth it should also have 7.1 surround ANC if possible good mic quality I have my eyes on Razer barracuda pro since it tick all of my requirements but I'm not really sure of Razer quality Corsair VIRTUOSO RGB WIRELESS XT is also a pick but it doesn't have 7.1? I can't find it in their website if it has one. Steelseries Arctis 7+ wireless is also a choice but haven't tried this brand yet so not that sure. thank you for your inputs.
  16. thanks for reference this is the model of the currently attached m.2 "Samsung PM981A" and a link to the teardown: https://laptopmedia.com/highlights/inside-huawei-matebook-d-15-2020-disassembly-and-upgrade-options/
  17. thanks! so you think the Crucial rep just made a mistake by telling me it's not compatible? since it is 2280 and it is the same pin configuration as well.
  18. I asked Crucial and they said this "Crucial P2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 SSD" isn't compatible but they have the same pin and is also 2280 so I'm not sure why it isn't compatible or did they just made a mistake.
  19. that actually looks great especially the wrist rest but does it have a full keyboard layout i.e with num keys and a scroll volume?
  20. My HyperX Elite is slowly trying to kill me by electrocution. so I'm looking for a replacement preferably wireless, has media controls, brown switches, and most important of all won't electrocute me no matter what. and won't peel off as well as my current one is peeling. Thanks!
  21. my mouse is relatively new though and a quick google search shows up that this is indeed a logitech problem caused by their switches. I'll try to repair it but I was hoping to get a more stable mouse in the long run that would get those problems years after the warranty expires.
  22. my G502 Hero has the problem that plagues logitech mouse atm, the double click issue. I've managed to go around this by assigning the primary left click on one of the buttons close to it, though I'm starting to notice the same problem on the left click but hopefully not. So I'm looking for a replacement for this mouse. Criteria would be if possible the infinite scroll, same amount of extra buttons, and the quick silent button which is very much useful.
