  1. So I shorted the pins and My computer started. THANK YOU SO MUCH! The BIOS still says my ram is 2133 speed. So it will go to 4000 automatically when I play games?
  2. So do I unplug the power, then use a screw driver to connect the two CLRTC pins? How can it short if there is no power? Sorry if I am asking stupid questions I don't know anything about computers.
  3. How can I remove the battery? I was not trying to overclock. I went to the BIOS to change the speed to 4000. MY sticks are 4000 RAM. I know RAMs are default 2133 so I just wanted to make sure my RAM was running at the 4000 speed that I was expecting. I don't know what XMP is.. I think I did? Btw SPU is 5900x and GPU is 3080 I really appreciate your help!
  4. Yes. I can't get to BIOS. what does starting with a lighter XMP overclock of RAM mean? I wasn't trying to overclock my computer. I have 5900x with 3080. Bought 16GB of 4000 MHZ RAM. I just thought every RAM is default 2133 so I had to change it to 4000 to make my RAM run efficiently. Thank you so much for your help.
  5. Hi I bought a new pc and I went to BIOS to change the RAM frequency from 2000 something to 4000 because I bought 2 8GB 4000 sticks. Then my computer tries restarting and wont restart anymore. There is an orange light for my ASUS X570 Plus Motherboard. Can someone tell me how to fix this please? I tried removing the sticks and reinstalling them but this still won't work. Thank you so much for your time
