  1. Currently about to start graduate school in analytics and i need a new laptop that will support analytic programs. I also would like to do some lite gaming on the laptop as well. I have a budget of about $1300. Any suggestions?
  2. Country: USA Budget: $1000 Hello I am looking for a for a laptop to buy for school this fall. It will be used for Microsoft office applications as well as some analytic programs. I would do some very light gaming on it such as League of Legends and some strategy type games. The screen size range i would like is 13" to 15". I am not a fan of the number pads on laptops as well. I also would like the track pad to be more centered as well. Some models i have looked at are the Dell XPS 13, MSI Modern 14, Surface Laptop 3, HP Envy 360, Omen 15T, Yoga C640 and the Asus zenbook. These are ones i have done some research on but i don't know if i should get any of these or if there are better ones out there. I also plan on getting a monitor to connect the Laptop to as well.
  3. Budget (including currency): $1600 Country: USA Other details: I am new to building a PC and would like an entry level build. Games i would like to play on it is mainly apex, warzone, league of legends, etc.. On the PC I would also be doing some normal excel and word document work. I would like to try to do some game streaming down the line as well. I would need to get a the whole keyboard, mouse, headset and even a monitor as well. Another thing I am looking for is a laptop. This will be mainly used for school with Microsoft office programs and data analytic Programs. I would like to be able to connect it to a monitor to use as another second screen. I would greatly appreciate a build suggestion for the PC but a laptop selection I can find out in a different post area if there are no suggestions.
  4. Thanks! Looks like a good build
  5. Total for all maybe around 200 to 25 if possible.
  6. Budget (including currency): The budget i would like to do is around 800(give or take 100) USD only because i will still have to buy a monitor, mouse and keyboard. Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I would like a PC that would be able to run battle royal games like COD Warzone, Apex and Fortnite. I also would like to be able to play some other titles like League of Legends, GTA V and some other RPG games. I also want to get into some video editing as well down the line. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I really like the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU with the reviews but i am open to other suggestions. I keep seeing reviewers saying having an open mesh case for your system is needed to avoid over heating but i also see a lot of other people do fine without the mesh front. Prefer a white set up, but black is fine as well.If i could get some monitor, keyboard and mouse suggestions that would be great as well.
  7. I appreciate the recommendations!
  8. This was the one I was recommended.
  9. I’m starting to build my first gaming pc with about a 800 to 1000 USD budget and I was recommended the powercolor 5700 Radeon XT. I’ve looked at reviews and it seems like it has a overheating problem. Should i still get it or look at a different graphics card? It will be paring up with the AMD Ryzen 5 3600.
  10. Okay great! By any chance do you have a monitor, mouse and keyboard recommendation?
  11. With the 5700xt what would make it perform better? Also with the SSD storage is NVME more preferred than sata 3? Sorry I’m pretty new to this stuff.
  12. Budget (including currency): 800 - 1000 USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I am new to the PC building world and would like to start getting into it. My only computer I have is a Surface 3 that I used in college. Games I would like to be able to play are some battle royal types like Call of Duty Warzone, Apex, etc... some action adventure games like Red Dead 2 or GTA... and maybe some RPG and MMO games. Down the line I am thinking of getting into a little video editing as well. Other details: I was also wondering if there is really a big difference with the Ryzen 5 3600 and the 3600x CPU’s as well as the RTX 2060 KO ultra vs the 1660 super gaming x. Is it worth the extra money to get these better versions or not? I want to get a decent enough PC where I don’t have to upgrade for a little while but would like the option to in the future.
