  1. Lets put things into the right places ; used to have an ssd that suddenly died. Now I installed an HDD in order to try to save some of my data from the old SSD, which is detected by the BIOS and I also can access the folders in the old SSD via the BIOS updater but in windows or in the CMD I cannot see it. I can see undetected device and sm controller which i think is the fucked up ssd. tried restoring programs but none of them showed it. now im wonderwing if theres anything else that i can do in order to access my data

I need help with deciding what SSD to buy Unfortunately, my recent SSD suddenly died and I looking for something new. my board is Asus Prime B365M A LGA 1151 which supports PCIe 3 with Intel CoreTM i5 ­ 9600KF Up­To 4.6Ghz LGA 1151 and my last drive was xpg s40g which died. and I'm wondering if I should take Samsung 980 pro which supports PCIe 4 or something else like the 970 the cost diffrence is not that big - like 30$ between the 980 pro and 970 evo plus I'm looking for something from Tier A or Tier B maybe somthing from C like the 970 evo which will last and be good enough I'm mostly programming seldomly playing thanks

Do you mean winRE from windows installation media via USB? if so - I tried it if you mean the screen from the windows installed on the SSD it is not responsive no matter what I tried do you ask if I can see the windows USB in the bios - if so I can if you ask if I can see the SSD in the bios - I can and it suddenly happened

  8. the case is quiet - its has damping all over the inside question is how do i find the info i need for the RMA - i tried using asus site but they are asking who was the retailer that the card was bought from and i dont have that info.... would it be better to just return the card to the seller? and purchasing something different as i understood from snooping on google - asus will give me nightmares with RMA
  9. this build is super silent, i dont know if its good or bad tho... its a week old card, do they crack so fast? its not like i can RMA , i just replace it with a different card and the thing is i need to specify to which card i would like to replace and which manufacture and i need to pay the difference in price of the cards so i would like your suggestions
  10. i got a new build a few days ago and i have one problem - the GPU make noises - high pitch noises and i am losing my mind over it the noises happen even in idle mode the specs are : case : Antec® P5 Silent Edition PSU: Antec® Atom 650W Bronze Certified Silent MB:Asus Prime B365M A LGA 1151 CPU: Intel® CoreTM i5 ­ 9600KF Up­To 4.6Ghz LGA cooling over cpu : Enermax ETS­N31­02 ram: Kingston® KVRTM 16GB 1*16 DDR4 2666 Mhz SSD: XPG Spectrix 512GB S40G 3500MB/s GPU: Asus Phoenix Gaming GTX1660 Super 6GB DDR6 OS: WIN 10 64 bit now i opened the case and listened - and the noise comes from the GPU - now i am not completely sure what makes the noise - i suspect its coil whine i talked with the seller and he told me i can replace the GPU the question is that - which GPU to take that have similar performance that wold not make that noise he suggested asus tuf 1660 but idk.... i tried to lower power to 50% still can hear it when idle turned v-sync and triple buffer - no change in the video you can hear the sound it makes - just top your volume audio_2020-06-01_16-11-40.ogg

  13. i did try to change fan curve - but it doesn't let me go below 27% fan speed the specific asus card i got is ASUS - PH-GTX1660S-6G - GeForce GTX1660 SUPER Phoenix 6GB GDDR6 - Single Fan - PCI Express 3.0 - Boost clock 1830 MHz - Base clock 1530 MHz if thats matter
  14. hi i got a new PC which works great i have only a small problem there is a slight hiss that changes without me doing anything from the GPU that really annoyances me the card is asus gtx 1660 super 6gb ddr6 single fan now if i understand correctly, the best option i got other that water cooling (which is going to ramp up the price) is to get a 0db card which will be quite most of the times(correct me if I'm wrong) now i found out that there are gtx 1660 super that have a fan less mode/0db mode until they reach 50 C or so now the options i got are replacing it with those models that i saw that have 0db mode are: are there any downside to giving up asus for gigabyte? are they lasting less or worse on the performance side?

  17. its actuality half the price of what they sell it over here, i am not from the us... i would probably will be able to get him down to ~600$ for the build with the 1660... do you think its a good idea to replace the case? unfortunately that's all the details i have for that... do you think there's a reason to change the power supply on this build?

  21. i used to play bfbc2 on it and it worked great lol now im in my first year in university and i thought maybe i could upgrade it and not buy a new one because maybe ill also buy a laptop and i cant afford both, it work fine but not as fast as the new ones... nowadays in not gaming anymore just a bit of krunker and uni' work
