  1. Alright guys, so last night I had a fun idea. You guys plan a pc for me (that I won't actually build). But here is the catch you can only recommend one item, and if someone else has recommended that same type of part then you need to explain why your item is better. For example lets say someone recommends a graphics card, but you have a better one, don't just post it explain why it is better. Make sense? I hope so... Budget (including currency): ∞ Country: 'MURICA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Any game and every game. Intensive workload. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Give me the best of teh best. NOTE: I won't actually build this... I just thought it might be kinda fun to see what you guys respond with.
  2. I am also planning on buying the Ryzen 5 3600... and was going to buy the MSI B450 Gaming Plus MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard to go with it but it is currently out of stock... I am waiting for the b550 like the other guys are saying and I think you should do the same... also looking to the future, if you want to upgrade your cpu then the b550 might be better...
  3. Yes it only has one slot... PC Partpicker says the type is 2242/2260/2280/22110 M-key... does that help?
  4. Ha! Wow! June 16th is my birthday... coincidence?
  5. Budget (including currency): $1200 USD Country: 'MURICA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I know I am getting CS: GO, Minecraft, Roblox, and Terraria... but I may want to get some more intensive games later on... I also want to stream... I want to have bang for buck but also look nice... PC Partpicker says that this is all compatible BUT it gives the note that "The motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When Will this be a problem for my HDD? This is my only question... If you want to also talk about what I need to change you can also include that... I keep posting up a build idea and then people change it and then I change it and then post it back up... (just take a look at my messages) I don't really want to change anything for now...
  6. There is more rainbow there than in a gay rights parade.
  7. Wow... just wow... looks amazing! Great job! Be careful though ... with all the Russian plutonium your cat might turn into some mutant tiger or somethin' like that
  8. No you can't suggest that board... jk, ur fine I looked at that board earlier and wondered it's quality as it is pretty cheap in price...
  9. Budget (including currency): about where it is at currently though I would like to maybe drop the budget a little if possible Country: 'MERICA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, Roblox, and CS: GO... those are the main games and the others will probs be small emulators and platformers. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I am probably going to purchase everything in mid-late July... (still saving, about 1/2 way to my budget)... I am trying to get an entry level pc... Is there a cheaper but about the same quality monitor screen? Should I go for more storage? I think the case only comes with one fan... should I buy another? What would be a good/cheapish option? Oof... this is my like 5th post about planning... I keep finding better or cheaper options... I think I am addicted...

I was a PC user then switched to a macbook when my old laptop broke and now I am saving for a gaming pc... So I am a switched switcher that switched or something like that XD... Great build! Looks amazing!
  12. Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.

  14. @Dawson Wehage I looked more closely at the build... will these problems be an issue? Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions. The motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When the M.2 slot is populated, two SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports are disabled. Some physical dimension restrictions cannot (yet) be automatically checked, such as cpu cooler / RAM clearance with modules using tall heat spreaders.
