My system has been Taking 3 times to boot properly
mikekir97 replied to ClonicMechanics's topic in Troubleshooting
The 3 times to boot correctly thing is because something (usualy a bad/old driver) is not loading correctly upon boot sequence.. try something like Driver Identifier portable to identify if you do need to update your drivers.. -
I see.. Sorry i could not help more.. Maybe it was a ping/internet problem as i thought earlier..
-
You are correct and i missed that initially.. i do game primarily at 1080p.. but on the other hand.. shouldn't that CPU GPU combo hit 100+ fps even in 3440x1440p..??
-
High ping does affect fps in games.. nothing is in sync if your ping is high... But you do have one point.. I get at least 110+ fps with my laptop.. it is undervolted AF not to throttle but works fine..:p

I do like and enjoy the game with friends.. It still in closed beta so bugs and problems are not uncommon.. but messing with cpu temps and my windows drive is not an expected anti-cheating behavior..:p

Is DRAM-less ssds fine? Pros and cons of it?
mikekir97 replied to GamingSeargent's topic in Storage Devices
In Specification but it does not clearly state.. This specific one is considered one of the best DRAM less nvme drives but as Linus explained many times it is recommended to have build in DRAM.. -

I was just about to do the same..xD -
How about your ping..? Your Internet speed or ping might be a factor..

Hello.. I have a problem with Vanguard (Anti-Cheat of Valorant) it just "breaks" all cpu temp driver sensors on my laptop.. Core Temp reports that the driver required to get the cpu temp info is not working when Vanguard is enabled even if the game is not running (at boot).. Also.. Ever since I installed it Every time i booted my laptop it kept trying to fix my C system drive.. a new 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Nvme.. Any one experienced anything like this..? any thoughts..? The solution i found for now after Riot support send me a generic response is to uninstall only the vanguard and install it only when i want to play the game.. then remove it again.. It is a pain but i need to know my temps more than i need to play this game.. good game for sure not the point though.. Also forgot to tell you earlier, i thing it might messed/reset my XTU undervolt.. but I can't be sure..

-
hmm.. okay.. i will try.. as it stands i get 2006 score in r20.. with only bitdefender in the background..

Thank you for your reply..!! I tested that with HWMonitor and it does boost up to 4.1Ghz (all core) in CS:GO never exceeded 65 degrees Celsius .. Performance is amazing on this machines.. Warzone managed to get the cpu to 70 degrees and cpu to 65..
-
I think performance is not affected as the actual clock speed is not changed.. boosting is fine at 4.1Ghz all core just didn't managed to capture it right now..;p (This is ltt forums.. clickbaity title required..xD ) (just a joke Linus..:3 xx)
