  1. My computer doesn't wifi. Only Ethernet
  2. I'm currently moving and didn't want to pay the internet bill BC I would be moving to a new house and would have to pay it again. So right im using my phone data, to tether to my computer to get internet but the speed is barely over 1-2 Megabytes yet my phone has speeds around 10 to 20 Megabytes, so why is my computer internet slower? I'm using USB 3.0
  3. Ohhh okay I understand but if I were to plug in my old 980ti could I get Minecraft to run off of that and get fallout 4 to run off of my 2060S?
  4. Wouldn't hyperthreading or whatever AMD calls it work with a Virtual Machine? So I would have 6 cores for me and 6 cores for him?
  5. I have a old 980ti could the Virtual Machine use that while i use the 2060S?
  6. I'm gonna try and make a Virtual Machine, so me and my brother can play on the same computer at the time, but I have a ryzen 5 3600X 16gb of 3200 and 2060S would that be enough to make a virtual computer and have enough memory for both of us? Would i have to get more memory? Also I have a old 980ti, could I put that into the computer have him use that for the Virtual Machine, while I use the 2060S.
  7. Ik that its a game but in the fallout series how were they able to use a brain as a computer? How have we not been able to do that in real life? I'm genuinely wondering.
  8. But no supercomputer is faster than a human nervous system. That's the kinda speed difference I'm talking about.
  9. But there's also some stuff that a supercomputer can't do faster than a brain. Like being able to process stuff like your brain telling your heart make blood and other stuff your heart does, to tell your ears to hear something etc. Stuff like that
  10. Which can process something faster. Like being able process something that you see or something that changes randomly.
  11. Me and my brother had a heated argument about which is faster and which would be faster in the future. He said that computers would be able to in the near future be faster than a human brain and I said super computers are no where near to being able to faster than a human brain. So which one of us is correct?
  12. Theyre still good parts like 7 to 9 years old.
  13. I bought like 10 completely full boxes of computer parts for extremely cheap like a couple of years ago. I have boxes full of old cpus, ram, power, supplies and other computer parts. I was originally gonna scrape everything down to raw materials and sale them but I'm moving soon and don't have time for that. So what would be a great way to recycle them without just throwing them in the garage? I live in the USA and would gladly ship them.
  14. Oh okay. Thank you but it only does that when i go over a rough area on my desk.
  15. Nvm that sounds like a better idea. But if its a modular PSU and the other cables are perfectly fine i would try and get a new 8 pin cpu cable at the very least
  16. I would try and get a new plug. If your PSU is modular you might be able to buy a replacement.
  17. I have Logitech M510 mouse and its been working great for the past 10 years, but recently it has trouble detecting im pressing or holding down either of the L or R mouse buttons. Does that mean the optical sensor is going out or do i have to have a more smooth surface so the mouse can detect im pressing one of them mouse buttons?
  18. Whats a good 3rd party file explorer you recommend for win 10?
  19. I accidentally deleted some files off of one of my SSDs a lil while ago, but i have the files i need on a different hard drive, but they're all in different folders, is there a program on windows 10 that can move files from multiple folders at once instead of having to manually move each file one by one?
  20. I have a Logitech K360 Keyboard and sometimes when I stop using it for awhile it won't work but when I restart my computer it works perfectly fine. Can anyone tell me what's going on? I'm so confused about it. I'm not sure if its broken or what

But won't I lose internet speed if I use more than one at a time.

Are cat6 ethernet cables durable to where you can plug and unplug them alot? I'm only asking this BC I have a PC that only has Ethernet but whenever I wanna play on my xbox 1 x I like having Ethernet BC I won't lag. So would me unplugging and plugging back to the PC and xbox visa verse, end up breaking my Ethernet cable?
  23. Let me reprhase that, are there any USB C cables that work as Ethernet cables if you have a device that doesn't have a Ethernet port but has a USB C port?
