  1. Budget (including currency): $1380 USD Country: United States I plan to use this computer for everyday activities like browsing the web, but I'm tryna build a pc so I can mainly play games smoother and have an easier time for workstation productivity. Games I plan to play: Fortnite, Apex, Valorant, Most AAA games Applications I plan to use for productivity: Premiere, After Effects, FL Studio, etc. Here's the parts list I have rn: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kKQJrr I couldn't find the gpu I wanted on pcpartpicker so here's the link on newegg: https://www.newegg.com/asus-geforce-rtx-2060-dual-rtx2060-o6g-evo/p/N82E16814126349?Description=rtx&cm_re=rtx-_-14-126-349-_-Product&quicklink=true I want to know overall if it's a good build and if I'll be able to play most games at at 1080p high settings getting around 100fps with few exceptions. And if I'll be able to use workstations apps and render with ease. Im set for the cpu and I won't change my mind on that but If there's any other parts I could get a better deal on, parts I could change, compatibility issues, etc. please let me know!
  2. I have display ports but only on my gpu because my cpu which is a ryzen 7 2700 doesn't have any integrated graphics so even If I somehow got my hdmi cable to get plugged from my monitor to my mobo then it all it would show on my monitor is something like "no signal" "cable is not connected".
  3. So, I tried pressing f12 right after it turned on and after a couple of minutes it went to the blue windows loading screen that said "please wait..." then t went to the login screen and I logged in. I downloaded the graphics drivers and I was prompted to restart after they finished. What I didn't realize is that I got absolutely bamboozled, after my computer restarted I waited for it to boot back up but it never did and I got that rectangle bouncing from edge to edge again. So I turned off my computer and monitor and turned it back on again and it didn't boot into windows so I tried pressing f12 after turning my computer back on again. It didn't work which made me come to the conclusion that the f12 things doesn't work as I tried it many times so when my computer worked for that 1 time it was probably a lucky coincidence that it actually booted into windows. So now I'm back to square 1 wondering how I'll get my computer to work. But I'm still puzzled as to why my computer didn't work after restarting it after I installed my new drivers. It should've worked. My friend told me very recently that one time he accidently deleted his drivers for his gpu, he didn't tell me how we got it to boot back into windows, but he told me after installing his drivers he restarted his pc for the changes to take affect, and after he restarted his computer his computer worked. My friend and I have the exact same prebuilt dell system which is very coincidential, and this happened about 2 or 3 months ago, so why wouldn't my computer work correctly after restarting? SO... it's been about 4 days that my computer hasn't been working. I'm currently trying to get in touch with dell to fix my computer if I can't get the help I need from forums. Also when I was installing my new drivers, before I was gonna get bamboozled, it gave me the option to dowload amd's software edition 20.2.2 3/5 and above that it said reccomended, and the other option was edition 20.4.2 4/23 and above that it said optional. I chose the most recent one 20.4.2, this leads me to a "consipracy theory" i have. Maybe the reason why my computer didn't work after restarting after installing the drivers 20.4.2 was because maybe there's a bug with the drivers because somewhat recently-ish there were problems with amd's drivers so maybe there's problems with these drivers that caused my computer to not work after installing them and restarting my computer. That's about it feel free to ask or say anything regarding my problem any help would be greatly appreciated!
  4. I opened up my system and realized that dell screwed me over. There isn't that little notch thing you're supposed to press to remove the graphics card. So if I tried to remove it I'd have to use a lot of force and most likely damage the card. So instead I just tried unplugging the 6 pin power cable and plugging it back in. I turned on my computer and nothing changed.
  5. System Specs: Ryzen 7 2700 RX 580 16GB DDR4 550W 1 TB HDD Windows 10 64 Bit regular It's a dell prebuilt btw I was trying to play a game but it said an error and it was most likely caused by outdated drivers, and I realized that the Radeon software hasn't told me about updating my drivers in like 4 months and when I opened the software it doesn't even show that there are new drivers that I can install. But I knew for sure that there were new drivers I could install so I checked their website and saw there were new drivers, I also saw that there's a new version of their software so I decided to uninstall my drivers and software so I could install the new ones. Once I had uninstalled them I was prompted to restart my computer so the changes could go into effect. So I did, and little did I know that it messed stuff up. I'm new to computers and didn't know this would cause a problem. Once my computer was done restarting it was closed and I opened it and my monitor and my computer just wouldn't boot into windows even though it was on. My mouse and keyboard even lit up, but my monitor was just stuck on this black screen. Here's a little background information that I decided to put in after reviewing this post. This is how it went when my computer was actually working, I would turn on my computer and monitor and the monitor would flash the brand ( Acer) then it would go to a black screen where, in the top right it would say "VGA", then "HDMI" (which is the connection I'm using) then in the middle of the screen it would show a square that says "input not supported", but after a few seconds of that I would boot into windows and everything would be fine. It would do this ever since the first time I opened my pc. But now whenever I open my monitor and computer it says all that stuff except when it shows the "input not supported square thing" it just keeps bouncing around the screen like a TV, when before when my pc actually worked the square didn't move and stayed in the middle I don't know if this extra information helps at all. I'm just hoping for someone to help me. So far I've tried making a windows 10 boot driver and plugging it when I turned on my computer nothing changed. I also have freesync enabled. I tested the monitor to make sure it worked by connecting it to a latop and it does display correctly. I've tried booting into safe mode by spamming shift + f8 when turning on my computer, but nothing changed, I've also tried interrupting the boot process 3 times and turned it on for the 4 time and nothing changed. Note: When my computer is booting into windows it doesn't show the windows logo or manufacturer's logo (Dell) I don't know if that's irregular. I also included a video of what it looks like when I turn on my computer and monitor and try to boot. Sorry for the poor quality and lighting. Video.mov
