  1. This is my first post ever, so I'm sorry if I make any mistakes. I'm looking to buy a new gaming laptop. I had pretty much set my mind on Alienware m15 r2. CPU: i7 9750H | GPU: RTX 2060 | RAM: 16gb | 1TB SSD | Display: 15.6" FHD (1920 x 1080) 240Hz Since the release of Asus G14, I am conflicted whether I should go for the new AMD chipset or not. My primary reason for choosing AW, in spite of the bad reviews regarding thermals and no option to upgrade, is that it looks better I will be primarily using my laptop for Gaming Browsing Unity3D Occasionally writing code (I have a Macbook Pro which I use primarily for programming though) My main concern for choosing a laptop is Assuming that both laptops have almost the same specs, will the CPU affect the performance of any of the tasks I mentioned? If so, how much will the performance of the CPU vary? For gaming, will the CPU affect the gaming performance and the thermal performance (assuming that they have the same GPU and I have undervolted the AW) Could someone please help me decide which one I should go for? Thank you!!!
