Are you still going to have that 10700K deal in july?

Just get some 3200mhz CL16 RAM at least

most Z490 boards should be fine

going to want an RX 5700/XT or 2070 super for the better value higher end GPUs, the 5700 is ~10-15% behind but may be a lot cheaper.

Yep the deal is constantly on haha

true the 5700xt is like 400 ringgit cheaper than the 2070 super here

oh yeah do u have any good ultrawide ips monitors to recommend?

  2. Budget (including currency): below 10000 malaysian ringgit( 2500 usd) preferably lower than that

    Country:  malaysia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly triple a games and maybe some light photoshopping and adobe premiere

Other details :Oh exclude the cpu I can get a 10700k for a pretty good deal so

Peripherals are needed except for the mouse

upgrading from my core 2 quad and i5 7200u

                             going to buy in july?

resolution 1440p and wants to game on a ultrawide ips monitor

refresh rate anything above 100hz will do

    Budget: Below Usd2500 for a pc,ultrawide 1440p monitor, peripherals,speakers

    Thanks guys

do you already have the 9700k? if not id wait for 10th gen to be on shelves as its a better deal, otherwise yeah id just go with a NH-d15 :)

nope i dont have it yet and thats true if the 10th gen comes out i will get one of those for the smte and thanks man for the recommendation

Both companies have cheap AIOS that have the same probelms as well. Basically the only reason to do AIO's is either space in the case, or you have a high thermal chip like a 9900k and you need thermals to be in check, or for quieter operation compared to air coolers.

i am gonna use a 9700k and will overclock it slightly so aio or just normal cpu cooler

You went with the cheapest AIO available, i dont expect it to last more then a few years at most. You should avoid that CM series of AIOS. Most other decent brands tend to last 3-5 years.

Oh, i see. So, i should go with like corsair or deepcool right?

if you have the slim chance that your GPU is on an MXM modue, there is a slim chance you can find a better GPU on an MXM module that is physically compatible with your laptop.

or on other words: it's unicorn terretory.

what do you mean i dont really get it haha

  8. I have a core i5 7200U layptop with radeon R7 340 (oem) but I checked  it up and I found out that my cpu is actually bottlenecking because of the weak gpu. Should i get a new gpu and if yes what should i get for a reasonable price

Hello fellow quarantine brothers and sisters,

I finished playing Skyrim about a month ago and Witcher 3 last week... and I'm about to cry. I feel like there aren't enough games of the genre oooooorrr I'm to dumb to find any, which is probably the case. I check out the developer pages for the Elder scrolls as well as projekt CD red and saw that they had nothing "recent" enough. I'm looking for something of the same genre, like massive world adventure and stuff. I also played Rise & Shadow of the Tomb Raider that was fun too any suggestions?

    Thank you!

How bout trying out shadow of Mordor its more pretty good

I strongly encourage you to buy mint condition parts. Good buy and less cost. (but need extra caution, and take time to built your rig this way)

usually i ask advice my customer to built using used parts for CPU, GPU and RAM.

My source is local trusted PC enthusiast in PC Gaming Community, Hackintosh Malaysia community and Low Yatt Garage Sale and also my local network.

  13. yeah for retail price it's not a good deal but i actually can get it for around 612 ringgit which is about 170 us dollars, for the kf i think i can get it fro 712 ringgit so yeah

    46 minutes ago, SavageNeo said:

is that kf version or just f version? that i7 has terrible value if its not the k version. Even with k version it has a terrible value.

Have you bought it yet? if not buy soemthing else with better value. if yes then go for the cheaper cooler. you cant overclock that cpu so any cheap cooler like hyper 212 will do

  14. I looked up the cooler master ma620p and i could get it for around 189 ringgit but I also found a good deal on cooler master's master liquid 240 lite for around 299. I am not really sure which is better for cooling for my i7 9700f. Is it likely that the aio will leak or have a broken pump in like 4 years time? coz i plan on using for around 3 to 4 years. Is it more reliable to get the 620p or the 240l?
