  1. I want to change my ram and was wondering if the Dual channel 16gb 3600mhz cl17 Kingston Fury Beast kit is reliable and good, considering it's at least 10$ cheaper than any other dual channel kit of the same specs (In the country i live in). Also can a Gigabyte B450 Gaming X support it? I assume yes but i want to hear your opinions as well. The CPU i am running is a Ryzen 7 3800X. https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-16-Desktop-Memory-KF436C17BBK2/dp/B097K54WGV/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2233QZU3DI9D7&dchild=1&keywords=kingston%2Bfury%2Bbeast%2B3600mhz%2Bcl17%2B16gb&qid=1635811097&qsid=134-7717787-8889922&sprefix=kingston%2Bfury%2Bbeast%2B3600mhz%2Bcl%2B17%2B16gb%2Caps%2C163&sr=8-3&sres=B097K54WGV%2CB097HP4R26%2CB07GL6CLTT%2CB07Z4NTYDM%2CB08B9KQDK5%2CB08GKVFMGN%2CB097HP5NCR%2CB082DH1FZR%2CB01MTDEYHU%2CB071KP8CGJ%2CB097TM4C4S%2CB0171GQR0C%2CB01LE0CG60%2CB09HRS8JKN%2CB089NZLJ81%2CB00HSHM600&th=1
  2. I already have a 3200mhz kit but my mobo doesn't support it for some reason and refuses to boot when enabling XMP for 3200mhz, so i'm running the current ones at 3600mhz cl26 and looking to upgrade to "native" 3600mhz instead of what i have now. Messing with timings trying to bring them down from cl26 also renders the system unbootable, so i'm looking to take this headache off by simply buying 3600mhz.
  3. Does the Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 16GB DDR4 3600MHz CL16 Dual Channel Kit fit a B450 Gaming X? As it says in the memory's description it supports XMP 2.0 (Intel) and i'm currently running Ryzen.
  4. the 5800X is better than a 10850K in every way imaginable (Performance wise) so you either go AMD or wait for 11th gen.

Now obviously here you can do two things: 1. Buy it now and pay 500USD (650CAD) for a 3060ti. 2. Wait until price drops and buy a 3070 for the same price. Also one more thing you specified (over) 2000CAD so i didn't know /how much/ to actually go above, so i went around 600CAD more (2600CAD). Also i don't know much about Virtual Machines but one thing i know is that you need above average RAM storage to run them and some computing power. You can remove one pair of the G.Skill Ripjaws and it will do you fine, BUT only for gaming, if you want to get into streaming you might need 32. As for the CPU a 5600X is very similar to the 5800X (From a gaming standpoint), so usually you wouldn't go as far as buying a 5800X, but in your case i think you might need the extra cores and threads. Just remember to set your RAM to XMP profile in BIOS so they run at the specified speed, and you could also try getting Ryzen Master to see how far you can push your CPU.
  6. It can run at 100% on both simultaneously, as playing Cyberpunk and doing the stress test on Aida64 has shown, Although it doesn't seem to want to go above 50% on LoL and Minecraft, and some other titles, like Crying Suns (They both sit at a confy 10% usage pushing 200fps, but since there is no fps cap or V-Sync it won't run at 240FPS no matter what). I had my FPS capped in CS, that was my bad, now i have around 600 Xd.
  7. The title isn't exactly the best match to the topic. What this is about is the fact that my PC (Ryzen 7 3800X RTX 3060ti 16gb 3600MHZ) Just simply refuses to run games fast. If the game is an easier game to run (Like CS:GO League of Legends, Minecraft, and so on) my CPU stays at about 30% and GPU also at around 30%, in League of Legends having an average fps of 180. Enabling V-sync doesn't help either, the frame stays the same although this setting should force my system to match the 240HZ monitor, they just simply refuse to work any harder. Is this intentional so they don't have to work harder than they should? Or is there something i am missing? Could this be a ram bottleneck? (Ram bottleneck because my mobo can't run my 3200mhz ram to 3200mhz, so i have to settle for 3600mhz cl26 which is stupidly huge but 2633 cl16 is worse).
  8. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game worked. Same settings same map same shader 3 times the performande after reinstalling. Wtf.
  9. Corsair Vengence LPX ddr4 3200mhz cl16. My motherboard doesn't support 3200mhz so i'm running it at 3600mhz CL26!!!!!!!!. I have spent 2 hours straight testing different timings for this memory, absolutely nothing worked, and it would only boot with XMP disabled 1.20V 3600Mhz Auto Timings(Cl26), or XMP disabled 1.20V 2133MHZ Auto Timings (CL15). Enabling xmp automatically means PC won't boot (both the motherboard B450 Gaming X and memory support XMP, yet it won't boot with it enabled), manually setting timings also means that PC won't boot no matter what i do. Should i just swap out the ram and give up or is there any other alternative to OC this memory to 3600mhz with cl20 or less? Also my FSB:DRAM ratio is 3:54 XD.
  10. Literally did nothing. Same config, same everything. Yesterday minecraft was running at 80fps (Everything maxed and with BSL shaders). Today it barely reaches 40 on the same map with the same settings. I get the same performance on 8 render distance today as i got on 32 yesterday. No matter what i do my performance is 3x as worse as yesterday for no reason at all. Why is that? (3800X with 8gb of 3600mhz ram allocated). For comparison this is the performance i would get in Cyberpunk 2077 with everything on maximum and ray tracing enabled (Without dlss). No other game is lagging either it's jus mc.
  11. I can't notice the pixels on this monitor even from the 60cm i'm sitting from it.
  12. I mean, it wouldn't be buyable from the most reliable retailer here if it wasn't reliable enough or just die after a year or so, right?
  13. You could get an RTX 3060ti for 300$ (If you managed to get it at retail price, that is) so if this GPU replacement isn't urgent, i'd suggest you wait for price drops maybe this summer, because for the price you'd pay now for a 1660ti you could get a 3060ti then. If the GPU replacement is urgent, then i'd suggest you go for the 2060 (If you can find it in stock anywehre as they have been discontinued)
  14. How good is Inter Tech Argus exactly? I've heard many reviews and most of them said they are not that bad, but not exactly what you would buy if you cared for your pc. I want to know your opinion on this PSU exactly: https://inter-tech.de/en/products/psu/atx/argus-rgb-750w-cm-ii as it offers 750W 80+ Gold RGB and Semi Modularity at around 90$, the next closest thing with these specs being 120$ or something like that. Is it good and reliable enough? Do you know of any case of Inter Tech Argus power supplies failing? And can the missing protection ratings such as OTP and OVC cause problems? Is this too good to be true deal really too good to be true?
  15. The curve is barely noticeable. I honestly prefer it over a flat screen.
