  1. Yes I treid that, but the Problem already occurs during POST so no drivers should interfere here.
  2. changed it to disabled but still 5 beeps on boot and no image.
  3. Hello everyone, I am currently working on the following system: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 RAM: 16 GB DDR4 MB: ASrock B450 Gaming K4 GPU: PowerColor AXRX 5700XT Power Supply: 500 W no name | now 750 W Seasonic the system boots with 5 beeps at POST (No GPU detected) and doesn't deliver any image. Changes made so far: new PSU (750 W Seasonic) -> No image replaced 5700XT with NVIDIA GT 710 -> PC boots without errors and image is visible replaced GT 710 with RTX 3050 -> No image tested RTX 3050 and 5700XT in different system -> they work fine tested 5700 XT and RTX 3050 in different PCIe Slot on original system -> No image applied BIOS update to motherboard (ver. 4.5 to 5.6) -> no image I have no idea why the two GPUs (RTX 3050 and 5700 XT) won't work on the described system. The GT 710 works fine, the GPUs work fine on diffrent machines and it doesn't matter what PCIe port I use (CPU or chipset) they still don't work on that machine. Any help is appreciated Thanks in advance
  4. Hi everyone, I am currently trying to troubleshoot an iPhone 7 with a weird issue. When the phone is locked, the lockscreen automatically turns on after a few seconds (for about 2 seconds) then turns off again. After 4-5 seconds the same things happens again, over and over. The "Raise to wake" function is disabled, phone was restarted several times, problem still persists. Except of that everything works just fine, no screen issues or anything alike. Thanks in advance
  5. Hi everyone, I am ’hosting’ my own openvpn server to connect to a different facility. However as soon as I am establishing a connection via cli I get a few errors which in the end doesn’t matter as the connection still works after those errors. Still I would like to diminish those errors and get everything working properly. First of all this is what my vpn config looks like: client dev tun proto udp remote XXXXXXXXXX 1194 resolv-retry infinite nobind persist-key persist-tun remote-cert-tls server auth SHA512 cipher AES-256-CBC ignore-unknown-option block-outside-dns verb 3 <ca> -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- XXXXXXX -----END CERTIFICATE----- </ca> <cert> -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- XXXXXX -----END CERTIFICATE----- </cert> <key> -----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY----- XXXXXX -----END PRIVATE KEY----- </key> <tls-crypt> -----BEGIN OpenVPN Static key V1----- XXXXXX -----END OpenVPN Static key V1----- </tls-crypt> the parts marked with ’X’ are filled with the correct private data in my configuration. Whenever I start this config this is what the cli returns: Sun Dec 5 22:22:41 2021 OpenVPN 2.4.7 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu [SSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [LZ4] [EPOLL] [PKCS11] [MH/PKTINFO] [AEAD] built on Jul 19 6. Hi everyone, I am using Mozilla Thudnerbird on multiple devices (two desktop PCs and two notebooks). Since I have a lot of E-Mail traffic I have over 30 filters that sort everything that comes in to folders that exist in my IMAP account (so I can see these folders and their content on every device). However there is a problem that when I want to modify one of my filters (add a new email adress or keyword as an example) I always have to do that on 4 devices. Otherwise (if I would only modify the filter on pc1 for example) my new Filters or changes of filters don't work on my other machines (obviously). So can anyone think of an easier way than editing 4 filters on 4 machines every time? Unfortunately my E-Mail provider doesn't support filters on server side (wich would sort emails before they even arrive in Thunderbird) so filtering them in Thunderbird is kind of my only option. Thanks in advance
  7. Thank you those are some valid points that I didn't really think about.
  8. The webserver is only meant to be hostet locally and the .py scripts simply change what list a ceratin program that is on the same machine as the webserver should use. I want this 'seeting' (meaning: changing the used list for program x) to be accessible for every user on my local network, so that lets say my wife, could click button 'List A' which would trigger script A, which would make program x use list A and vice versa.
  9. When you take a closer look at the adapter does it say anything about the manufacturer or similar information that would indicate that the driver is properly installed?
  10. Hello everyone, I am trying to create my first php site (locally) that should have two buttons that each execute a python script when clicked. Since I ahven't really worked with php yet I don't really know where to start here. I already have the php script active that prints out the current time and is available over the local ip so I already know how to do that Any help is appreciated Thanks in advance
  11. I personally wouldn't go for a data center one (noise obv, as you mentioned) I think those are just too big of a form factor to use with a NAS. Go for something more home user oriented, noise and size wise.
  12. QNAP QSW-M408S would be a cheap solution for what you want, 4 10 Gigabit SFP+ Ports, 8 Gigabit RJ45 Ports.
  13. I am trying to "force" traffic of my network over a raspberry running pi hole to filter it with blacklists. So yeah the idea is to use this on networks with permission only, don't worry If I understand that correctly, this "only" finds the standard gateway right? So I still don't really know how I could start Ettercap from a python script.
  14. Hi everyone, as the title already says I am trying to use python to start and configure Ettercap. So my plan is to have a script that first scans for the ipv4 of the router and then start ettercap to spoof and/or log /and/or filter all the traffic that is coming to the router from the various clients. I am still at the very beginning of learning Python so I am not really sure what approach I should take for this. Every help or hint is appreciated.
  15. specifying it with python3 did the trick. Thank you!
