  1. What's up guys, how are you? I'm having a little problem with my rig. It started a while ago, without any stress my monitor is turning off and then suddenly turning on again after 1 second. This happens at least once a day randomly. I ran all the tests (furmark and cinebench) and everything looks fine. At start I thought it was the PSU and got super worried that my GPU was dying but now I have absolutely no idea what can it be. I also run a projector as a second monitor and both flashed at the same time, so its not the monitor. Also not the cable because they are different (projector and monitor). Should I worry about it? Thank you so much! Specs: RYZEN 3950X ASUS ROG RTX 2070 SUPER 64GB TRIDENT NEO Z 1TB CORSAIR MP600 + 500GB SX8200 PRO
  2. Hey guys, what's up? I'm building my computer during my internship here in the US and now it's time to go back home with it. I didn't buy the case yet cause I'm kinda afraid to travel with it. The problem with bringing the computer not built (with cpu case) is that I may have problems with customs in my country. Do you guys have any tips of how can I travel with it? Most of the desktop cases I want are ATX so they are around 21 in x 18.5 in.. My luggage is around 28 in x 20.5 which seems kinda 'tight', specially knowing the way that they literally throw our luggage. Also, sending it with DHL is as expensive as my GPU card, so that's definitely not worth it. You guys have any tips about it? Thank you so much!
  3. Damn man this was an insane good response! Thank you brother!
  4. Textures and stuff can be pretty large but doesn't mean that I need them on my SSD and I already have an external HDD.. I bought my last laptop with only 500GB ssd and its still ok untill today with the external HDD.
  5. Hey guys, whats up? I'm sorry to bother you with this, but could you help me, please? I've been trying to decide which m2 should I get.. I'm trying to choose between Sabrent Rocket 4.0, XPG SX8200 Pro and the Evo Plus. Clearly the Sabrent is the fastest, followed by the Evo and the XPG. The thing is, the Sabrent 1TB costs 200, the 970 evo plus 1tb 240$ and the XPG sx8200 pro 2TB 260$, for 60 more I can get double the space. I'm gonna be working with renders and probably will not game that much, eventually yes, but I'm definitely not a gamer guy. My question is: the difference between speeds is enough to overcome the difference in space? Worth it? Also, nice to know that the Sabrent is the only PCIe 4.0 My configs are: Ryzen 3950x X570 Asus ROG Strix Gaming-E 64gb RAM G Skill Z Neo 3600mhz RTX 2070 Super ROG Strix OC Corsair H100i 240mm Platinum AIO PSU 650W ROG Strix
  6. Thanks my friend.. I hope you have a nice weekend and stay safe during this whole thing
  7. Thanks for your answer man! Yeah that's exactly what I read, that people tend to exaggerate. You're right, probably the only time I'll be using a good amount of my desktop is when rendering with the CPU overclock, but I don't need to use or OC the GPU doing that. If i decide to game (maybe one day install some games just to check it out) I won't OC the CPU for that, am I right? Thanks man!
  8. Hey guys.. sorry to bother you with this, but I just bought a Ryzen 3950X bundle with the Asus Rog Strix 650W Power Supply, I'm just afraid that the PSU might not be enough. My question is: this PSU is gonna be enough to hold a 2070 super strix + 3950x? I'm not a gamer and I probably won't overclock the GPU (maybe one day if necessary), but yes, I'll probably OC the CPU. (Mostly using 3dsmax with corona for architecture) My specs are: Ryzen 3950x + Trident Z Neo 64gb 3600mhz, 2070 super asus strix, 2tb 970 evo plus, 240mm liquid cooler and 4 120mm fans. You guys think I should return the 650W and maybe get the 750W or even the thor 850w? I don't mind paying a little bit more, I'm just afraid to destroy my computer because of 20 or 50 dollars, sorry for my ignorance. Thank guys for your attention!
