Hey there! I'm looking to build a mid-range gaming pc with a 2070 Super and I had a quick question about my processor. I was planning on going ahead with the AMD 3700x but saw on User Bench that the Intel 9600k provides similar performance, but at 2/3rds the price. However, User Bench's bottleneck calculator said I would be bottlenecking my gpu, if only by a little. I also know Intel just announced their Comet Lake architecture and that might affect prices in the near future, therefore rendering this question irrelevant. I was wondering if anyone could provide some help on which cpu I should go with, as there seems to be a lot of contradictory opinions on the matter. Thanks ahead of time for any input! PS- sorry if there are some holes in my understanding of the matter, I'm a newbie when it comes to all of this and just thought I would seek the opinions of some more experienced builders.
