PeachGr got a reaction from sfb in LMG Sponsor Complaints
Manscapped lawnmower 3.0
I bought that, and it stopped working after 1 use. I contacted support and they be sent me a replacement that died after 2 weeks. Now the third died on my hands after about 6 months. I have used it normally, charged it at low wattage and I m really really careful on cleaning it with water. Arm I have 3 e waste products at home.
Also when you but it, there is a hidden subscription for about 10€ per month for a useless part (blades)
Photo of their waterproof. I ve washed it a few times in low pressure water from a sink. They did a good job keeping the water inside I guess

PeachGr reacted to LinusTech in Linus Tech Tips, Tech Quickie, Tech Linked channels hacked
Thanks for the concern everyone. We are still in recovery mode over here and working with YouTube to get everything restored. Will hopefully have a video (or at least an update on WAN Show) to share with you all ASAP, but we want to make sure we get the details right since smaller channels may rely on our experience to help harden their own security.

If your PC so not have drivers for WiFi or Ethernet, plug your smartphone via USB, and choose USB tethering, so your PC will have internet to download the said drivers

PeachGr reacted to Dracarris in Apple getting dose of its own medicine with iPhones users getting messages that android user reacted
Yes, if only there were any modern cross-platform alternatives, like
Signal
Threema
Whatsapp
Telegram
FB Messenger
IG Messenger
Teams
Hangout
Zoom
Skype
Slack
Mattermost
Regular, plain old text, as supported by literally any phone, as a fallback for 2FA, doctor appointment confirmation, emergency, whatnot.
I certainly agree with imessage. Facetime, at least for 1-on-1 calls, in my experience provides consistenly best image quality and stability.
A text message does not need to be SMS or RCS, as pointed out above. A phone call is a much smarter choice for exchange of urgent information due to the low-latency two-way nature of a phone call and a much higher information density compared to typing that info.
I also don't know how in todays world people still can afford to check their (work) Emails only once per day.
I'm afraid your usage scenario is a bit niche nowadays.
