  1. Of assets are nor loading fast enough, then it might. But in general it won't upgrade your performance
  2. What a Christmas gift was that? I don't know if I can hope, but let's hope they ll upload something
  3. If your PC so not have drivers for WiFi or Ethernet, plug your smartphone via USB, and choose USB tethering, so your PC will have internet to download the said drivers
  4. I hope that it works with windows and exports to fbx, so that we ll have an option for cheap and good mocap suits
  5. It's a 2 years old processor, running android. Why won't you get a smartphone? Most smartphones play android games, and if you are about to spend 400$ on that device, just spend a few more on your smartphone and get a better device
  6. https://youtu.be/m6-juFXR9c0 that's another unknown CPU. Thins is that server chips don't need to be good at million things as game ones, so I guess there are more players there.
  7. Cruise, a general motors self driving startup started it's own diy Chip, for it's autonomous driving feature like many tech companies doing those days. Choosing their own path, according to analysts will cost them about 100 million dollars Quotes My thoughts Nvidia on it's keynote spent a lot of time talking about their chip on autonomous cars, but since Tesla is too big and doing it's own Chips (and as far as I know machine learning), and then a general motors company is too small to afford them, I wonder who will actually use them. It's is strange to me that 100 million is the price that a company will pay to go it's own path, but at the same time it's not enough to even negotiate with Nvidia. Then there is the prediction of even more companies to move out to do their own Chips. I thought that Nvidia will start by losing money to be competitive, to create market share on a relatively new market, but I guess I was wrong on that Sources The quotes are from morning brew emails so I can't Link them https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/upset-by-high-prices-gms-cruise-develops-its-own-chips-self-driving-cars-2022-09-14/
  8. Google can't have a good face unlock, but it can detect your lying face! I feel like we have much way to go before we have something accurate
  9. I remember the huge case of Harley and Davidson that lost a parent from Indian bike about a complex engine, and it was a big deal. Now they patent basic shapes...
  10. LG does good TV OLED, Samsung good OLED smartphone screens, that was the thing for years
  11. Today, I ve learn that Autodesk is not only for cad, 3D modeling and animation
  12. About who to trust, Samsung has the fab to produce the nand, I think the controller as well, and I don't know about the PCB, they are also the falinal producer of the overall hardware. I don't believe they have the absolute 100% of the product, but they sure have a huge percentage of it, so I guess they are to be trusted. It's a guess, but they wouldn't slaughter their own products
  13. They actually will 7:33 on the video it is the transfer of big files for many hours. It's common for server workloads, and not relevant to gaming or other personal usecases. But still, it's something different than the addvertised specs, so i don't know what else will be different over the next months or years
