  1. May or may not be helpful, but if you live near Micro Center you can get a bundle with a Ryzen 7 7700x, MSI B650-P Pro Wifi, and 32GB (16x2) 6000MHz ram for $450USD. You can't even get a better deal if you bought used parts. They have a few different options too considering you have 2500 AUD.
  2. That's pretty insane, unless I find a better deal this is a pretty good option.
  3. Watching it right now, if I can find the 6700xt for $300 then I'll take it. Pretty insane that the 3060 is faster now
  4. Not doubting you, just from what I'm seeing the 3070 is slightly better. I don't mind AMD as I've had a few in the past, but what would make it actually worth while even if I could find it for the same price?
  5. 650W. Is the 3070 really already struggling? Didn't come out too long ago haha
  6. My mistake for not including that prior. Mostly emulators (Wii, Switch, etc.), Minecraft with shaders, and other smaller titles.
  7. BUDGET: $300 USD Hello, I already have my computer built with the specs listed below. AMD AMD RYZEN 7 7700X G.SKILL 32GB 16x2 6000 MHz MSI PRO B650-P WIFI ATX I am currently using an R9 290x as my GPU and need to upgrade. I don't mind buying used, and actually prefer it to save some money. I've seen a few RTX 3070's going for about $300. Wondering if that would be the best course of action or if there's anything else to consider. Thanks! EDIT: Games I will be playing include emulators from old to new Nintendo systems, Java Minecraft (with shaders), and smaller titles.
  8. I recently picked up a 120GB SSD that I’m hoping I can use to create a personal cloud storage thing similar to Google Drive. Is this a thing?
  9. Haha yes, 9900k is actually my main pc's cpu. I'm going to run a few servers (Bungeecord), but I will cut some plugins that are not important, and install some server lag reducing ones. Thank you for your response, will take the advice!
  10. Hello! I currently am running a Minecraft server for me and my friends. I have 16GB total, but ran a server with 8 people with 2 allocated fairly well with the occasional 2 second lag every 10 minutes or so. I have been thinking about making the server public, with no more than 40 players, do you think the Celeron can pull it off?
  11. Would I still throttle a little bit though? I built my computer mainly to play minecraft with some other things open in the background like discord and opera.
  12. I recently upgraded from my i3 8100 to an i9 9900k. I heard my mobo can't handle my new cpu though. I have no intention of overclocking, if I don't overclock will I be fine?
  13. Basically, one computer has no wireless wifi card, and one does. So my question is, is it possible to hook them up via ethernet cable, and "give" wifi to the computer with no wireless wifi?
  14. I'm thinking in about Christmas time, but I can hold out longer if need, I'm in no rush at all.
  15. I know I will have to swap boards for the Ryzen choice, but I have a B365M DS3H.
  16. Hello, here is my spec list: i3 8100 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz RX 570 8GB msi I'm thinking of upgrading to an i7 8th Gen, or maybe a Ryzen 5 3rd gen. All I do really is play video games, sometimes I want to use photoshop but I think my CPU is bottlenecking me. Thoughts?
  17. I'm thinking one of these two cards, not sure which one though. https://www.microcenter.com/product/615814/asus-geforce-gtx-1660-super-phoenix-overclocked-single-fan-6gb-gddr6-pcie-30-graphics-card https://www.microcenter.com/product/617680/msi-radeon-rx-5500-xt-gaming-x-dual-fan-8gb-gddr6-pcie-40-graphics-card
  18. maybe, ill check everything. hopefully its not a hardware issue.
  19. yeah windows 10. but even with the ssd not installed i get nothing
  20. yeah i reinstalled windows, im about to do the drivers. could drivers be a reason for the gpu not displaying?
