  1. Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it a great deal. I had originally wanted a 5000 Series CPU but ruled it out due to availability. I believe my next step from here is to bag myself a 3070 & 5600X and begin the build from there. Thanks again for the help.
  2. Budget (including currency): £1350 UK Country: England Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Cyberpunk 2077, GTAV, ARMA3, Squad, Far Cry etc. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Parts List: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/FYzKp2 I have created a parts list which fits my budget and am here to gain advice regarding what I have chosen, it is within my £1350 budget and I would like to know is this a good pic for my budget or are there better parts to spend my money on? I’d like to run games on high settings for 1440p if they are single player with good frames, for multiplayer I would like 1080p at over 100 frames on max settings if possible. From my limited knowledge I am unaware of any bottlenecks going on but again I only have limited knowledge. Also if anyone has any first time builders advice that would be much appreciated as this is my first build and it does appear quite daunting at the moment. Thanks,
  3. Right, I’ve wanted to get a new pc sorted for the last 6 months so a few weeks more will do no harm. I will properly educate myself on YouTube with building a pc and try building it, I’ll probably try and spec a better one using pc parts picker. thanks for the help everyone, it’s been great getting people’s feedback.
  4. Cheers, if I can pay someone to build it I will do some research if anywhere near me can, hopefully COVID hasn’t caused them to shut as my area of the country has right restrictions currently
  5. My current system is a gift so I never built it myself, and I have never tinkered with a pc before. I suppose it may be me being naive but I would be worried about buying parts and damaging one and encountering other problems etc.
  6. Budget (including currency): £1200/£1300 Country: England Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: ARMA3, Insurgency, Cyberpunk 77 - And a vast array of other games Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): No peripherals needed. I have decided to go prebuilt as I doubt I would be able to build a pc and have two questions regarding a prebuilt system. Here Intel i7-9700K GTX 2060 Super 16GB Ram i would like to run some games at high - ultra settings and would like to know about when I do so, as currently my pc is only able to run games on v.low settings. How loud will the system run, or where would I find this info? - As I mentioned, this is one thing I dislike about my current system. I have seen a few performance videos on YouTube and have seen people with high temps, does anyone have experience with this parts combination? And if so what would be the most cost effective way of sorting this. Thanks, any help at all is immensely appreciated.
  7. Thank you. Thanks, I’m still fairly new to the PC side of things, I’d noticed there were lots of ports but no matter where I looked I was unable to see them listed anywhere, just that there was one HDMI. As for Monitors I have already invested in two ASUS VG278QR monitors but currently I am not making use of the HDMI Ports so that is something I will be looking to do when I upgrade.
  8. Hi, have decided to buy my first proper gaming PC, however before I purchase I have one issue that I need to find a solution for. The PC only has one HDMI port yet I have two monitors, is there a way to use both monitors connected to the PC but displaying separate things? I have been looking on Amazon but I am unable to find an adapter that will do this. The PC. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
