I've been so busy with work and life commitments, I miss a lot Ltt's videos. I watched all the videos when they moved into the office, But what is actually going on now. I assumed they just rented the unit next door for storage, but they appear to be doing more than that. Whats going on? Bonus question; Where is Luke? Not seen him in ages and I like his presenting style.

It depends on the case. My Coolermaster elite 130 has an i7 4790k water-cooled with a Corsair h80i and dual Noctua fans, and a GTX 1080. I also have 16GB of Ram and the whole system runs off Samsung 840 SSD. The motherboard has built in Wifi. What more would I need from a larger case? I have space for more HDDs if i really needed it and I've used multi GPU before and found it very hit and miss.

Would be a lot more interested if; it could lay horizontal, the power button and USB was on same side as window, so GPU was on display all the time. Imagine how cool it would be if the front of a case was a window display of your GPU. To the 3D printer....... oh wait, I have a max bed size if 140mm. Maybe not then.

No signal from GPU to monitor. Urgent fix needed.

I'm just hoping OverclockerUK are going to be helpful now with the RMA. It was only 2 months old and seeing as they are one of the main outlets of Palit cards in the U.K. (Palit is based in Hong Kong according to their website) they should replace the card. It's just irritating as makes me wish if bought from Amazon. They have their faults, but their returns policy has always been great to me. -

Thanks. It's difficult trying to explain to people the importance of a computer when its used for work and I have customers relying on having products delivered within a very short time frame. Its also worth pointing out that while yes, the GTX 1080 was bought partly for gaming, The power is also beneficial in rendering and batch photo editing, especially working at 4K as i do. On top of this, I've now got to find time to recalibrate my monitor again tomorrow with my Spyder as a gpu change throws it off. -

Well after hours of tests, both bios on the gtx 1080 have suffered from the issue. I've had no issues with my reference gtx 980 installed. Kind of pissed because I know RMA will be a pain. It's a Palit card, and their website says all returns go through store you bought from, but OverclockersUK say anything over 30 days must go to manufacturers. Not a lot i can do until after xmas anyway. -

Tried both. But I honestly do not believe this is the issue. I've tried it on a 2nd monitor with the same issue using both DP and hdmi. Up until today, this was never an issue at all. Annoyingly I dont have a way of trying this gtx1080 in any other pc as its triple slot and my other rig is itx. -

I've already tried all that. Did a full clean install. After switching to 2nd bios, I tried playing a game for 20 mins. After restart, I had the same issue again. No signal to monitor. -

Ah yes trying that now with a reference gtx 980 I have spare. So far 3 boots have worked fine. I have noticed the gtx 1080 has a dual bios. Going to try switching to 2nd bios. Update: reinstalled the 1080 with its second bios selected on the card. Currently haven't had an issue after a couple of boots. I guess next few hours will tell if it's a 'fix' or not. -

Second pc doesn't have Upto date software and my Lightroom catalog on it. Just put a reference gtx 980 in pc. Testing now. On board graphics work fine. But GPU acceleration makes photo editing and exporting a hell of a lot quicker. There's a hell of a difference between an iGPU and gtx 1080 -

Memory. Lol. Windows automatically brings up password entry on boot. -

Ok so latest trial. No crash, Pc starts fine. Sound to speakers is ok and I can log in. But no signal to monitor at all.
